Although there are many female martial arts experts, few possess both beauty and skill. Among the young girls present, Zhou Hongmeng and Lin Yin stood out as the two most beautiful. Their conflict naturally drew attention.
"When did our Martial Arts Association gain these two beauties? Has anyone heard of them? Please introduce us," a young man joked.
"What’s going on here? Everyone is just here to drink tea and chat tonight; let’s not start a fight in Yan Gui Tower," suddenly interjected an elderly man in traditional attire, his demeanor commanding as he strode forward, followed by a young man.
This elderly man was Chen Jie Li, the President of the Dao City Martial Arts Association, and the young man beside him was his grandson, Chen Ran. Chen Jie Li was quite skilled in martial arts, comparable to Liu Chaowu and Zhou Zhi, both Masters of Transformation, making him a notable figure in this bustling world.
"President Chen, it's good to see you," Liu Chaowu greeted with a smile.
After some pleasantries, Zhou Zhi added, "Let the two young ones spar; it’s harmless enough. Don’t mind us, Chen brother; we won’t let them damage any tables or chairs in Yan Gui Tower."
"Actually, if they want to spar, they can wait until tomorrow at the competition. There’s no need to rush; tonight I invited everyone mainly to catch up with old friends and for the young ones to make new friends," Chen Jie Li replied with a smile. As the host, he certainly didn’t want any fights breaking out tonight.
"Chen brother, that’s not quite right. We are martial artists; it’s through sparring that we get to know each other. Young people can spar anytime and anywhere; that’s the spirit of martial arts," Zhou Zhi said with a grin.
"Then let’s keep it brief and spar in the courtyard of Yan Gui Tower," Chen Jie Li conceded reluctantly.
Jiang Chen naturally did not stop them; he had brought Lin Yin here specifically for her to compete with various martial artists. Of course, Zhou Hongmeng was far from being Lin Yin's match; Lin Yin's true opponents should be Liu Chaowu, Zhou Zhi, and Chen Jie Li—those who held positions in the Martial Arts Association.
Lin Yin and Zhou Hongmeng took their places on either side of the courtyard's stone platform. Zhou Hongmeng appeared proud and confident while Lin Yin remained relaxed and at ease.
"You all think who will win between these two beauties?" Many young onlookers began to place bets out of curiosity.
"Definitely Zhou President's granddaughter! She grew up in Europe and is well-versed in various martial arts. She has achieved impressive results in European Martial Arts Competitions," someone remarked upon recognizing Zhou Hongmeng.
"Is she really that impressive? Skilled in various martial arts?" Many were astonished.
"And who is that beauty over there? I’ve never seen her before. She is indeed beautiful; usually, martial arts girls have rough skin from training, but hers looks flawless. She doesn’t seem like someone who has practiced martial arts for years. I doubt she can match up to President Zhou's granddaughter."
"I think so too; her delicate skin would be a shame to injure during a fight. I wonder if she has a boyfriend?"
"What? Are you interested in her?"
"A graceful lady deserves a gentleman's pursuit. Honestly, she is the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen. Don’t you want to chase after her?"
"Look at all those gazes around us; they probably have their eyes on her too. I know my limits—better to retreat gracefully."
A group of young spectators whispered among themselves.
"Old Liu, fists have no eyes. The girl you brought must be from a wealthy family; if she gets hurt, don’t blame my granddaughter," Zhou Zhi chuckled.
