Young Master Qian, having regained his composure, saw Lin Yin walking with another man and was immediately filled with rage. He stepped forward to block her path. "How dare you kick me? Before he could finish his threat, he received another kick to his groin and let out a couple of pained cries before collapsing unconscious.
Meanwhile, Lin Yin and Jiang Chen strolled away as if nothing had happened.
"This time, Jiang Chen is really in for it. I need to inform his godmother quickly. Taking on such a godson is just asking for trouble," Chu Mei said as she hurriedly pulled out her phone to call Zhou Rongli.
Chu Mei expected Zhou Rongli to be anxious after hearing the news, but to her surprise, Zhou Rongli simply laughed without a hint of worry. "I trust Xiao Chen; he can handle his own affairs. I won't fret over it."
"Zhou Rongli, you're so calm! Your godson's girlfriend has offended the son of a wealthy man in Dao City. This situation could get messy. What if it affects you?" Chu Mei was taken aback.
"It's fine; let's leave it at that for now. I have a meeting to attend," Zhou Rongli said somewhat impatiently before hanging up.

"Mom, does Aunt Zhou think that since you're here, you'll handle this situation for Jiang Chen? That's why she's not worried?" Wang Duoduo asked.

"We can definitely manage it. I'll just have Chen Ran step in; he has considerable influence among the rich second-generation crowd in Dao City. But since Jiang Chen hasn't come to us for help, we don't need to intervene," Wang Duoduo suggested.
"Isn't it a bit troublesome to involve Chen Ran?" Chu Mei felt conflicted.
"He is my boyfriend; if I really need his help, wouldn't he assist me?" Wang Duoduo said proudly.
