Jiang Chen nodded in acknowledgment but said little more; he felt satisfied with this father figure. With his biological parents gone, having a godfather and godmother was quite nice. Although he was an Immortal Lord, sometimes it was better to keep a low profile.
"Let’s go; your mother has prepared lunch and is waiting for you both," her father said cheerfully.

Jiang Lu's mother, Zhou Rongli, was busy in the kitchen while a stylishly dressed middle-aged woman and a young girl sat on the sofa watching television without offering any help to Zhou Rongli.
