After finishing her meal and sending off Yang Qinghe, Yu Songyu secretly took a small dog from the bamboo basket as she returned to her room and brought it into her space.
She had been quite busy these past few days and hadn’t had the chance to relax in the hot springs. First, she returned to the modern world to buy a complete set of feeding tools for the puppy, including its dog food, milk powder, and a small dog bed.
Once she finished feeding the puppy, it lay down on its soft dog bed and quickly fell asleep with a gentle snore. Only then did Yu Songyu immerse herself in the hot springs, enjoying a moment of tranquility.
Since the Zheng Duo in her space had the ability to enhance physical strength, she wanted to see if feeding it to the puppy would make it strong in battle in the future. This way, even if they encountered danger, there would be a better chance of survival.
As she relaxed in the hot spring, she also plucked a few leaves of Zheng Ban and placed them in her mouth. The fragrance of Zheng Duo flowed like a refreshing stream down her throat and gradually spread throughout her body, coursing through every corner along her meridians.
The sensation was both comfortable and invigorating, making her feel as if she were being infused with strength. After soaking, she changed into a clean set of pajamas and looked around her space.
She thought it would be good to create an independent area for the puppy so that they wouldn’t disturb each other. While pondering where to set it up, she suddenly noticed a barely perceptible mark on the left stone wall.
As she approached for a closer look, she discovered that the mark was spiral-shaped, resembling a vortex. It was faint; if one didn’t look closely, they wouldn’t notice it at all. She reached out and gently touched the vortex; it felt smooth without any bumps or indentations.
In an instant, a transparent door appeared before her. Beyond the door lay an expansive grassy field, with distant rolling hills barely visible in the background. Yu Songyu had seen similar scenes in dramas and tentatively reached her hand through the door; it passed through effortlessly.
Feeling nervous, she held her breath and stepped through the barrier into an entirely new realm. Here, time seemed synchronized with the outside world; the sun was about to set, painting the blue sky with crimson hues tinged with gold from the evening glow.
The view was breathtaking, as if the entire sky had transformed into a massive canvas. Yu Songyu was awestruck by the beauty surrounding her and found herself lost in wonder for quite some time.
Outside, the world was blanketed in snow and ice, yet inside, it felt like spring had arrived. It was truly unbelievable!
Out of caution for the unknown, Yu Songyu decided to return to her original space. To her surprise, this space was a hidden gem she had never imagined. If it weren't for needing to find a spot for the puppy today, she might never have discovered this secret.
Yu Songyu walked over to where the puppy was sleeping, crouched down, and gently touched its round little belly with a finger. The puppy seemed to sense her presence; instead of retreating, it wriggled its small body and nudged closer to her.
Oh my, how adorable you are! The little puppy snored cutely, making soft gurgling sounds that melted Yu Songyu's heart.
If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have realized that my space held such wonders. How about I give you a name? Let's call you Lai Fu, shall we? Hmm? Little Lai Fu? Do you like that name?
The puppy was just too cute. Yu Songyu gently lifted the cushion along with the puppy and moved it to her bedside.
One person and one dog, one on the bed and the other on the floor, they fell asleep together, enveloped in a serene sense of tranquility.
