Jiang Lu and Qin Xusha were already waiting at the airport exit. As soon as they spotted Jiang Chen, they rushed over to greet him.
"Brother Jiang, you finally made it! This is my classmate, Jiang Lu. Ever since I mentioned introducing her to you as a sister, she has been looking forward to meeting you!" Qin Xusha exclaimed, pointing at Jiang Lu with a playful smile.
"Great! How old are you? Are you going to be my sister or my elder sister?" Jiang Chen asked gently, recognizing Jiang Lu from the photos he had seen.
"I'm only eighteen, so I should be younger than you," Jiang Lu replied without any shyness, indicating that Qin Xusha had shared quite a bit about Jiang Chen with her.
"Oh, then let's make you my sister! Where are you from?" Jiang Chen smiled. He felt a certain familiarity with Jiang Lu; perhaps it was because they shared the same surname. But that seemed unlikely since Jiang was a common surname.
"I'm from An Province. From now on, I'll call you brother!" Jiang Lu said happily.
"Alright!" Jiang Chen nodded. Since he had no family at the moment, having an additional "sister" didn’t matter much to him.
Jiang Lu smiled contentedly and linked her arm with Qin Xusha's as she turned to Jiang Chen. "Brother, Sister Qin said I wanted to meet you, but actually, she wants to see you even more. She dressed up specially for today. Don’t you think she looks beautiful?"
Jiang Lu was slightly younger than Qin Xusha, which is why she called her "sister." However, such terms of endearment among classmates indicated a particularly close relationship.
"Xiao Lu, don’t say such things! Your brother is my lifesaver; I’m practically his maid. How could I have any other thoughts?" Qin Xusha blushed.
"Haha, let’s not talk about that anymore. It’s getting dark; let’s go eat instead of standing around at the airport," Jiang Chen suggested, shifting the topic. He wasn’t considering dating at all.
Jiang Lu and Qin Xusha quickly agreed.
Qin Xusha drove them to a high-end residential area in the city—Dela Apartment. The properties here were extremely expensive, with the most luxurious penthouse valued at over one billion Huaxia Coins.
"Young Master, the place we’re staying now belongs to a friend of mine whose family immigrated to Great Britain years ago. I borrowed it for our stay while we’re here on vacation. She’s been our tour guide yesterday and today," Qin Xusha explained, having started calling Jiang Chen "Young Master" since she entered university.
"Sister Qin's friend is also a stunning beauty and has a personality just like yours," Jiang Lu added with a smile.
"Really? I’d love to meet her," Jiang Chen replied casually. Since Jiang Lu was now considered his sister, he felt no need to maintain a formal demeanor and pretended to be very interested in beautiful women—something normal for a guy.
"Young Master, her name is Ni Xingyi. She works in fashion design and has a show in Paris next weekend. She invited Xiao Lu and me to go along. You should join us too," Qin Xusha suggested with enthusiasm.
"Sure! This is a rare opportunity; I’ll accompany you both around Europe," Jiang Chen smiled back.
"Wow, it’s so great to have you as my brother!" Jiang Lu giggled.
"Hehe, since you've become my sister, how could I not treat you well?" Jiang Chen said warmly.
An hour later, as they pulled into the underground garage of Dela Apartment and stepped out of the car, they noticed a tall woman getting out of a nearby Mercedes G-Class. She looked several years older than Qin Xusha—probably around twenty-seven or twenty-eight—and was dressed very stylishly with shoulder-length hair and high heels that added an extra seven or eight centimeters to her height.
