The special effects in this series are quite impressive, with various magical elements that feel incredibly real. Just for the sake of the visuals, it's worth following the show.
I’m here for the second episode!
I actually find the daily interactions between Inquilinar and Beck to be quite quirky and entertaining. At the end of the last episode, Inquilinar was leading Beck through a series of search scenes, all while demonstrating magic and providing lessons along the way. The warm teaching moments and the fantastical visual effects really capture the audience's interest, making them eager to tune in again after seven days for the second episode.
For Inquilinar and Beck within Script World, they had already visited three kingdoms in just one month. They rushed through their journey, hardly able to stop in one place for too long, missing out on many beautiful sights. Inquilinar promised that once this exchange meeting was over, he would take Beck to truly appreciate the natural beauty around them. Beck didn’t feel tired at all and happily agreed.
“Teacher, are we going now?” Beck asked after finishing his morning routine. After washing up, he extinguished the campfire they had lit while camping outdoors.
Inquilinar frowned slightly, wanting to train his apprentice more: “How many times have I told you? You are already a magician! From now on, to extinguish fire, just disperse the fire element in reverse!”
Beck chuckled sheepishly, showing his innocence: “It’s just a habit! I’ll remember next time!”
“Teacher, teacher, let’s hurry! Didn’t Mr. Reiner say we should try to hold the exchange meeting as early as possible within a month? I can’t wait to see the magicians from All Continent!”
As soon as Beck mentioned this, he couldn’t contain his excitement; his eyes sparkled with enthusiasm. The thought of all the magicians from All Continent gathering together and sharing ideas was simply wonderful! For Beck, who had dreamed of becoming a magician since childhood, this gathering was something he longed for immensely.
Seeing his apprentice so excited, Inquilinar’s frown softened slightly. Although his apprentice could be a bit simple-minded at times, his unwavering passion for magic was commendable. During their last meeting with Reiner, things had been too rushed to properly show off; this time, he was determined to impress some old friends.
With that thought in mind, Inquilinar stopped scolding Beck and instead took out a fixed teleportation plate. He was quite familiar with this item after using it many times; unfortunately, it couldn’t be disassembled, so he hadn’t been able to study it thoroughly.
By channeling magic power into it and lightly tracing a line across its surface, a doorway opened up in mid-air.
Beck watched intently; even after seeing it for a month and dozens of times before, he still couldn’t get enough of it. Each time felt just as magical and wondrous as the first.
"Let's go. We're about to meet many old friends," Inquilinar said, no longer impatient but instead wearing a smile. "I'll introduce you to some of them."
"The Mage Exchange Conference," he continued, a hint of pride in his voice, "is something I put a lot of effort into organizing back in the day, and it has continued to this day."
His words were laced with self-satisfaction.
Beck, lacking in social finesse, didn't join in the flattery but instead expressed curiosity about the conference. "Is it held in the sky?!"
The thought of wizards floating in the air while exchanging ideas struck him as incredibly cool!
Inquilinar nearly choked on his own words. How could their trio have ever managed to hold a conference in the sky?
Coughing to regain his composure, he adopted a serious expression and said, "Beck, that's not right. You can't assume that all wizards are as capable as I am."
