The aftermath of the incident left both sides, Black and White, utterly exhausted. Most people were slumped in their seats, either gasping for breath or praying in celebration of their survival. Many noticed that Director Anthony and Charles each sent a vehicle back to the port.
At this moment, amidst the tumultuous emotions, no one bothered to ponder why they were returning; as long as it wasn't them going back, that was enough. Consequently, a familiar scene unfolded once more. The two vehicles sped away quickly and returned even faster!
This startled everyone significantly. The personnel from both Black and White forced themselves to regain their composure, growing increasingly tense. It had just happened like this! The two experts had confidently boarded the Transport Ship, only to return at a breakneck pace to inform everyone that a nuclear bomb was about to explode!
Now it was happening again! They were leaving quickly and coming back even quicker. This had left them with psychological scars.
The two vehicles rushed back to the port and hurriedly returned. It was eerily similar, almost like a brief cycle; they had witnessed this very scene just moments ago. Each person was filled with dread about what astonishing news these two colleagues would bring back. Some had already begun to close their eyes in prayer, while others were hysterically cursing.
Anthony and Charles grew serious, not waiting for their subordinates to report back. They moved to the front to greet their confidants. The suspense was about to be unveiled; neither of the confidants dared to exit the vehicle. Instead, they rolled down the windows and shouted: "UFO! After the nuclear explosion, beneath the port lies a glowing UFO!"
Everyone who heard this was left speechless; some gaped wide enough for a duck egg to fit in their mouths, while others' eyes widened in disbelief. Many suspected that the two confidants had suffered radiation damage to their brains.
The mention of a UFO was simply too shocking. Among those present, very few believed it. While they might indulge in science fiction movies from time to time, who would believe in UFOs appearing in reality? They would rather speculate that the two confidants had been hallucinating due to radiation exposure than accept that a UFO truly existed.
Anthony's expression turned grave; without lingering any longer, he got into one of the vehicles and ordered, "To the port!" There was no need to doubt the confidants here or engage in baseless speculation.
Is it true or false? One only needs to take a look at the port to find the answer. Charles was not to be outdone; he returned to the Extended Luxury Car and similarly instructed the driver to head to the port. The driver was afraid of radiation, but even more terrified of the boss's methods, so he could only comply.
With the director and the boss both gone, were the captain and the crew going to hide in the back like turtles? Did they not fear retribution in the future?
Thus, the two sides of Black and White, who had managed to escape quickly, followed behind with different thoughts as they returned to the port. The journey back was exceptionally quiet; it was no longer filled with frantic shouts for speed as it had been during their escape. The only sound was that of the vehicle engines.
They didn't even need to reach the port. As dozens of cars ascended to higher ground, about half a mile from the port, they saw what should have been a pitch-black harbor glowing with an unusual light.
Anthony was the first to get out of the car and grabbed a pair of binoculars. He saw that the massive crater created by a Tactical Nuclear Weapon had not disappeared; instead, it had been replaced by a perfectly square underground space. Roughly measuring three meters on each side, its exact depth was indiscernible.
In that underground space stood a shining UFO! It was a circular UFO completely different from human technology, resembling those flying saucers often seen in science fiction movies! The UFO was entirely silver-white, and its pristine silver color was unlike ordinary silver; it was evident that it was made of some special metal that temporarily surpassed human technological capabilities.
Through the binoculars, there were no visible filaments or lights, yet the surface of the UFO emitted a soft white glow that illuminated everything around it without being blinding. Not just Anthony, but everyone who saw the UFO had their jaws drop in disbelief.
