I trust your judgment when it comes to choosing restaurants. Lu Youyou, the hidden foodie, knows quite a few places to eat out, and her recommendations for dishes are indeed delicious.
"Hehe," she smiled brightly at the praise from someone she cared about. "Let’s go to the East Gate; there’s a grilled fish place near Ancheng University. The flavor is absolutely amazing, and you’re sure to love it."
The reputation of her foodie nature was well-deserved, and Lu Youyou's recommendation of this restaurant did not disappoint. Xu Lie found himself puzzled, wondering if it was the modern seasonings that made the food taste so good or if it was simply because he was enjoying it with Lu Youyou.
In the world of Cang Hai Jue, he was a prince accustomed to lavish meals, but once the novelty wore off, everything he ate lacked flavor. Considering that they used only the finest and freshest ingredients, even without modern seasonings, it shouldn’t taste as bland as Jue La.

After their meal, Xu Lie drove his little electric scooter with Lu Youyou back home, and this time they didn’t get lost. However, upon returning to their neighborhood, he noticed a black car following closely behind them.
Lu Youyou also spotted the vehicle and glanced at Xu Lie casually. He nodded in acknowledgment, indicating that the car was indeed monitoring him.

Lu Youyou looked up at the sky in exasperation. She had worried that Xu Lie might feel uneasy when in fact she had been overthinking; he was still as mischievous as ever! He certainly didn’t need her comfort.
Hand in hand like a couple in love, they strolled down to the entrance of their community. Xu Lie knew it was almost time for him to leave. "If you miss me, just look through our photo album. I’ll try to take some time off next chance I get."
As Lu Youyou approached her building, she felt a headache coming on, pondering how she would explain things to her parents once she got home. Hearing Xu Lie mention leaving made her momentarily forget about her parents; her heart was entirely tied to him.
Reluctant to let him go and wanting to keep him there, she found herself at a loss for words. She didn’t want to put him in a difficult position.
"Smile, Lu Youyou, smile," she told herself quietly in her heart.
Lu Youyou encouraged herself, recalling all the motivational quotes she had read online about leaving being a step toward a better reunion. The sunlight was shining, and making Xu Lie feel at ease was what truly mattered.
Yet, she just couldn't bring herself to smile.
Xu Lie seemed to sense Lu Youyou's thoughts as he moved closer, almost pressing his face against hers. Understanding that she didn't have to force a smile, Lu Youyou shyly lowered her eyelids and slightly lifted her chin, feeling both anxious and hopeful.
However, just then, she heard Xu Lie comment, "This grilled fish has a bit too strong of a flavor."
Lu Youyou opened her eyes wide, unable to suppress her anger. Is this man for real? Just when they were about to part ways, he had to ruin the mood with such a remark?
As soon as she opened her eyes and was about to shout that he was ridiculous, Xu Lie leaned in and kissed her. In an instant, her anger dissipated, replaced by boundless joy.
Her last coherent thought before her mind went blank was that maybe this man wasn't so ridiculous after all.
After saying goodbye to Lu Youyou, Xu Lie returned to the black car and headed back to the company, leaving the artificial person behind to work at the research institute. Meanwhile, Lu Youyou's cheeks flushed red as she took out her phone and began typing furiously online, trying to find answers: "Is it normal for your boyfriend to reach out randomly while kissing?"
