A woman with hair shorter than Lu Youyou's, barely reaching her ears, opened the small door and invited Lu Youyou to come in and take a seat.

The audience could see Lu Youyou being brought into the Special Investigation Team. However, within the Script World, the Special Investigation Team had actually spent nearly a day on this case. They first reviewed more detailed information about Lu Youyou, including her recent activities, online presence, social relationships, and browsing history on her phone and computer.
Next, they visited her school and classmates' homes, even tracking down Lin Yuanliang to inquire about Lu Youyou. After gathering sufficient understanding, they finally went to Lu Youyou's home. During this time, they dispatched capable agents to conduct remote surveillance to ensure that Lu Youyou wouldn't escape the Special Investigation Team's sight like Xu Lie had.
Several members of the Special Investigation Team visited her parents, Lu Ba and Lu Ma, informing them that they needed to invite Lu Youyou for a brief chat. The pale expression on her mother's face made Lu Youyou too afraid to meet her gaze. She finally understood why Xu Lie had looked at her strangely when she suggested he hide at her house. It was the look one gives a fool.
Lu Youyou truly realized how much trouble such actions could bring to her family. Just thinking about her mother's bloodless face made her heart tremble uncontrollably.
The members of the Special Investigation Team were quite friendly and polite, stating that they only wished for Lu Youyou's cooperation in their investigation. However, the camera on the ceiling was aimed directly at Lu Youyou, and the audio equipment was functioning properly so that Zhang Yutao and other members of the Special Investigation Team could observe the questioning.
Mo Mei Lin pretended to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear while subtly adjusting her earpiece. Once she received a response from Zhang Yutao, she formally asked, "Lu Youyou, would you like some tea? Please don't worry; we just hope you can cooperate and answer a few simple questions. There's no need to be so tense."
