After a moment of thought, Li Yunqing decided, "Let's go directly to Wangshu Inn; it's quieter there."
"Sounds good," Zhong Li nodded in agreement.
Li Yunqing immediately cast a spell, and a magic circle appeared beneath their feet. In an instant, they arrived at the base of Wangshu Inn.
Zhong Li looked at the inn and then turned to Li Yunqing. "Spatial transfer? Is this what you call magic?"
Li Yunqing smiled and nodded. "Magic isn't just about vines and stones; all elements can be used, including those you don't have."
A golden light appeared in Li Yunqing's hand.
Zhong Li observed it closely. It resembled the glow of geo elements but lacked the earthy feeling associated with them.
"This is light."
"Light?" Zhong Li echoed, intrigued.
Li Yunqing tossed the light in his hand. "This is the light element that doesn’t exist in Teyvat—or rather, it might exist, but the Light Archon and Dark Archon could have been eliminated."
"Perhaps this is why the sky of Teyvat feels false?"
Zhong Li listened to Li Yunqing's words without responding. He had never heard of gods of light and darkness before.
When Zhong Li was born, he was already around Liyue, learning and honing his skills on his own before arriving during the War of the Archons. To protect the fragile humans, he had remained steadfast in Liyue and had never left.
Thus, most of his knowledge about external archons came from those he had battled against. Perhaps there were gods of light and darkness far away from Liyue—maybe separated by half an ocean?
Shaking his head, he didn't think much of it.
The two arrived at the balcony above Wangshu Inn. The inn was tall, offering a view of many places—the snowy mountains of Mondstadt and the harbor of Liyue.
Is interdimensional travel interesting?
It can be considered interesting; seeing different places and meeting different people allows one to learn new abilities.
Interdimensional travel is merely a hobby for Li Yunqing. Each realm is different, and naturally, the rules vary as well. Li Yunqing needs to learn the rules of each realm.
And then strengthen the Earth. After all, it is his birthplace, so he should take good care of it.
Zhong Li nodded in response to Li Yunqing's words.
Seeing Zhong Li deep in thought made Li Yunqing smile. "What’s wrong? Do you want to join me?"
"I do have that thought," Zhong Li admitted naturally. Being able to freely enter and exit other realms does have its appeal.
Li Yunqing hadn't expected Zhong Li to have such an idea; after all, he was the God of War of Liyue.
"What's this? Does Liyue no longer need protection?"
Zhong Li shook his head. "I've protected Liyue too well. I feigned death to allow them to grow a bit, but after all this time, nothing has happened, which is a good development."
Zhong Li's act of feigning death was meant to push Liyue out of its comfort zone. With the strongest deity providing protection, the training for the people of Liyue would be lessened.
Moreover, your family is still here; I believe you wouldn’t want anything to happen to Liyue, right?
Li Yunqing looked at Zhong Li's smiling face. It seemed that travel had a profound impact on him; even the composed Rock God could crack a joke now.
Travel should have reached Sumeru by now, and Li Yunqing hasn't been to other places in Teyvat yet.
Zhong Li did not refute this.
Perhaps my wear and tear can be mitigated through experience. The gods do not have a concept of lifespan; wear and tear is equivalent to it. The greater the wear, the lesser the power.
Li Yunqing nodded upon hearing Zhong Li's words.
Then next time, I'll take you along.
