Li Tian Ci shared many of his experiences, igniting a sense of longing in the other children. He then showcased the skills and magic he had learned. Watching such powerful abilities made the other kids even more eager to acquire them.
While Li Tian Ci was boasting, Li Yunqing was in the living room telling his story to several girls. He also took the opportunity to introduce them to the wind spirit. Speaking of which, there could only be one wind spirit in a realm, and Li Yunqing had never encountered the wind spirit of this realm. He wondered what would happen if there were two wind spirits in one realm.
The wind had been blowing for a while, yet there was no sign of the wind spirit reacting. Perhaps it was because of the arrangements Li Yunqing had made in his home; he had set up numerous formations, many of which concealed their presence. After all, there was a Tian Li idly watching over everything.
The wind wanted to chat with Lilu Lu and the others, but only Li Yunqing and Li Tian Ci could hear her words. Communication among women needed to be free from men’s presence, and the wind felt less inclined to engage in conversation.
Li Yunqing pondered for a moment and recalled a telepathy ability that allowed people to chat through a mental network. He quickly located that ability and learned it. The reason he didn't use magic was that all magic required assistance from some form of spirit power. Even at higher levels where assistance might not be necessary, spirits were still unavoidable. Thus, magic had no effect on spirits.
Only abilities outside the magical system could work effectively. While he possessed the ability for one-on-one telepathic communication, he lacked the capability for group telepathy.
Before long, Li Yunqing returned and pulled several girls into the mental network, creating a private room for them to chat in. This way, when he invited others later, he noticed a door displaying the names of several girls along with an "in use" label. Naturally, this meant he wouldn’t disturb them.
Seeing that the several girls could chat among themselves brought a sigh of relief from Li Yunqing.
As several girls burst into laughter, it was truly overwhelming. Li Yunqing smiled softly.
Looking outside, it was already evening.
Time for a stroll.
Dinner had just finished not long ago, and it was customary for the Liyue people to take a walk after their meals.
Thus, the streets were bustling with Liyue residents.
Groups of people gathered together, chatting animatedly. When discussing little secrets known only to themselves, they would glance around to ensure no one was approaching before lowering their voices to share their whispers.
Li Yunqing observed the brightly lit Liyue Harbor at night and glanced at the ordinary Liyue people around him. He felt no desire to mingle with them.
Making friends with these common folk wouldn’t be beneficial for him either.
Arriving at the storytelling venue, he found Zhong Li there, listening intently to the tale being told.
Li Yunqing sat down beside him, and Zhong Li turned to look at him.
“Hmm? You’re back?”
“Yes, I’ve been away for over half a year. Tian Ci has grown up, so I returned.”
“Half a year?”
Zhong Li pondered Li Yunqing’s words; they never exchanged exaggerated tales, so it must be true that he had been gone for six months.
Li Yunqing chuckled as he observed Zhong Li’s expression. The flow of time varies across different realms; a day here could equate to ten days elsewhere!
“Is that really the case?”
“You wouldn’t know unless you’ve traveled through realms; it’s quite common for me.”
Zhong Li nodded in understanding.
There were others besides Zhong Li listening to stories in this place; many Liyue people gathered here since the storytelling was exceptionally good.
The fellow Liyue residents at the same table glanced at Li Yunqing and Zhong Li upon hearing their conversation, smiling but saying nothing.
Of course, they recognized both Li Yunqing and Zhong Li.
Li Yunqing was a mysterious figure, emerging from unknown origins but possessing great wealth. It was said that all six of his children were extraordinary, each with the potential to become divine beings.
As for Zhong Li, he was a guest at the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. Historically, the parlor had never hosted guests, so allowing this exception spoke volumes about his significance.
Clearly, they were not exaggerating.
Zhong Li stood up.
"Let’s talk elsewhere."
"Sure."
Knowing too much could be detrimental for the Liyue people sitting at the same table.
