"Is this my father's magical inheritance?"
"Yes."
Li Yunqing tossed the Blue Inheritance Orb to Li Tian Ci. The Blue Inheritance Orb merged directly into Li Tian Ci's body. He touched his chest and realized that the Blue Inheritance Orb had vanished. Li Tian Ci froze in place, his mind flooded with an overwhelming amount of knowledge, expanding rapidly within him. Fortunately, Li Tian Ci's Spiritual Power was strong enough, and his Shi Hai was broad enough that this influx of knowledge did not create any significant turbulence.
Li Tian Ci quickly absorbed the knowledge. The magic recorded in the original spellbook was nowhere near this extensive; however, Li Yunqing had gathered many spellbooks, each one refined to perfection. Every day, new spells emerged, and the number of Li Yunqing's spells continued to grow. Correspondingly, his Magic Knowledge also increased.
Li Yunqing observed that even though Li Tian Ci's current Spiritual Power was quite impressive, he still experienced a shock when receiving this knowledge. It seemed that for such large-scale knowledge inheritance in the future, a powerful Spiritual Power would be necessary. Alternatively, perhaps Li Yunqing could impose some restrictions on the Inheritance Ball? Unlocking portions of knowledge at each level of strength might not be a bad idea.
As Li Yunqing pondered this, Li Tian Ci reopened his eyes, a glimmer of wisdom flashing through them. He looked around, and with his vast new Magic Knowledge, he felt as if the world had transformed; he saw things he had never perceived before.
Skills were merely for use, while magic required understanding its structure and how to wield it, along with progression. Most importantly, magic needed the internal magical energy to communicate with the various elements of the world. Previously, Li Tian Ci could only use skills, allowing him only a rudimentary awareness of the elements' existence.
Now, however, he could fully see what these elements were like. Before him, he could see countless powerful elements swirling around Li Yunqing, and he could feel the immense wind elemental power of his Wind Mother.
The floor beneath their feet was filled with elemental energy, though it seemed somewhat sparse.
"How does it feel to grasp magic?" Li Yunqing asked, observing Li Tian Ci's wide-eyed wonder as he looked around, clearly able to see the energies swirling about him.
Li Tian Ci, excited by Li Yunqing's question, exclaimed, "Is this how it looks to a magician? It feels amazing!"
Li Yunqing smiled. "This is something only full-fledged magicians can perceive; ordinary mages can only see the one element they resonate with most."
"The Inheritance Ball not only transmits knowledge but also contains a part of my magical power. Though it's just a fragment, it should be quite substantial for you," he added.
Li Tian Ci glanced at his status panel and nodded silently as he noticed the changes. Indeed, it was a significant amount—too much to even count.
Seeing Li Tian Ci nodding, Li Yunqing chuckled. "Well then, you can go find Mei Pulu now."
"Yes, it's about time. In a few months, we should be heading back. Your siblings must be missing us," Li Yunqing continued.
Li Tian Ci thought of his mother and siblings. Since Li Yunqing had been the first to hold him, he considered himself the eldest and felt a sense of responsibility to care for his younger siblings.
"Got it! I'll go find Mei Pulu now," he said.
"Go ahead," Li Yunqing replied, casually pointing out the management system and granting Li Tian Ci access to an overview map that displayed every level's location.
Although he now possessed the Magic Knowledge space, without practical application, it still posed some challenges.
Watching as Li Tian Ci disappeared, Li Yunqing decided it was best to let him explore on his own. He then took Sera and Anna out for some shopping.
Meanwhile, Feng observed Li Tian Ci's departure thoughtfully before saying a few words to Li Yunqing and leaving.
