The next phase was quite simple. Li Tian Ci and Anna took Simba to level up. Anna was fairly knowledgeable about the layout of the Second Layer, having lived in this realm for a long time, and the Hall had held a significant position here before.
Anna's role was not just as a Supervisor for her own people; she also had to oversee every visitor that came to the Hall. This required her to know where they were from, as each region possessed its own unique abilities. Without this knowledge, she wouldn't know what to expect from them.
However, understanding the Second Layer was merely theoretical knowledge for Anna. She had only read about it in books and seen its distribution on maps. Not to mention, after so many years, things would have changed. Therefore, Anna's information wasn't entirely accurate, but it still held some value.
Meanwhile, Li Yunqing was out with Sera and Feng, enjoying the scenery. To be honest, whether one played as an explorer or a sightseer in this game, it was quite enjoyable. Each region had its own unique Scenic Map. The Scenic Maps were devoid of monsters but contained plenty of items resembling souvenirs that could be crafted into equipment, albeit without any attribute bonuses.
Time passed day by day, and players were soon arriving. One day, a loud rumble echoed through the sky, and a message resonated in everyone's minds: Adventurers were coming! The Mission Modules on each player activated, allowing them to provide quests for the adventurers to undertake.
Li Yunqing didn't have any specific quests himself; however, he could set one up for players to complete if he wanted. Yet he wasn't particularly interested in creating a special task for them. Instead, he returned to the First Floor with Sera and Feng, gazing at the fountain located at the very center of the town.
Suddenly, countless beams of white light appeared, and one by one, individuals dressed in identical outfits materialized before them.
They pinched themselves or nudged their companions, either to check their surroundings or to run. However, many others headed straight towards their destination. Those with tasks above their heads had exclamation marks. Yet, some without exclamation marks also had tasks, but those were hidden quests that required specific conditions to trigger.
As a result, players generally ignored those without exclamation marks, especially since they didn’t carry any items or materials. Triggering hidden quests seemed impossible. Many players glanced at Li Yunqing and Sera. Although Li Yunqing and Sera didn’t have exclamation marks above their heads, their behavior indicated that they were special in some way. After all, while everyone else was preoccupied with their own tasks, Li Yunqing and Sera curiously observed the players.
In terms of data, they would overlook the players' extraordinary abilities. However, once they interacted with the skill Friend of Heaven and Earth, a significant change would occur, as if they had awakened a sense of consciousness. This would make them feel more real and tangible.
Nonetheless, Li Yunqing had not interacted with anyone yet; after all, it was the players who needed something from him. Once interaction occurred, curiosity about the players would arise, leading to a thorough examination. But Li Yunqing wasn’t afraid of scrutiny, as his data level was set much higher than others.
After watching for a while, Li Yunqing took Sera and left the area. Meanwhile, Gan Emperor had arrived, but Ouyang was still missing.
