The next day, Li Yunqing got dressed and got out of bed. As he entered the living room, he heard some noise coming from the kitchen and saw that Ma Yi and Sera were already wearing aprons and starting to prepare breakfast.
Li Yunqing hugged Sera from behind.
"Ah?!"
Sera was startled by Li Yunqing's sudden embrace; she hadn't sensed him approaching.
Li Yunqing rested his head on Sera's shoulder. "What are you cooking?"
Realizing it was Li Yunqing, Sera turned her head slightly and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Oh, it's nothing much. I'm frying eggs, and Ma Yi is making porridge."
"Sounds great! A hardworking wife deserves a reward," Li Yunqing said, kissing Sera again before moving over to Ma Yi to give her a kiss as well.
Ma Yi patted Li Yunqing on the shoulder. "Alright, you should step outside for now. We're cooking, so don't come in here and cause trouble."
"Okay, I'll go out," Li Yunqing replied, ruffling his hair as he exited the kitchen. He smiled at the Several Girls who were yawning as they emerged from their bedrooms one after another.
He settled onto the sofa and started scrolling through videos on his phone.
After a while, Zhi Ye and Shinobu Kocho ran into Li Yunqing's arms. The two little heads poked out from his arms, resting against his chest as they watched his phone together.
Lilu Lu and Kanao Tsuyuri also joined him on the sofa to watch television.
A bit later, Ma Yi emerged from the kitchen carrying dishes along with a pot of porridge.
"Time to eat!"
"We're coming!"
The few people on the sofa immediately rushed to the dining table, sitting down and waiting for Ma Yi and Sera to join them for breakfast.
After finishing their meal, they did not leave the dining table immediately.
"Have you all decided which realm to go to?"
Upon hearing Li Yunqing's question, several girls exchanged glances. It was Sera who spoke up.
"We've thought about it! A modern setting with martial arts, and the power levels aren't too low. One person can go!"
"Is it the Otherworld?"
Li Yunqing nodded; he had seen this anime before and thought it was quite good overall.
"That's settled then. When do we plan to go?"
The girls looked at each other and discussed for a moment.
"How about we just go right away? Staying at home these past few days has been a bit boring."
"Sounds good! There will be fun things to do over there!"
"I'll follow my sisters' lead."
"I agree!"
In the end, they all reached a consensus to head out right away since staying at home felt too idle.
Li Yunqing nodded at their decision. "Then let's go."
"Great!"
Li Yunqing tidied up the dishes and headed to the living room. The girls had already been sitting on the sofa for a while, and the TV was playing something entertaining.
Seeing Li Yunqing approach, they looked at him with excitement.
Li Yunqing smiled at their eager expressions. "Can't you wait any longer?"
"Well, we've already decided to go!"
"Then let's get going."
Li Yunqing, accompanied by several girls, vanished in an instant from the living room. The girls felt a shift in their surroundings and suddenly found themselves in a different place, reminiscent of a previous teleportation.
As they looked around, they realized they were in a dense forest. Li Yunqing used his Spiritual Power to scan the area. Moments later, he led them with another flash and they arrived at the entrance of a village.
The village appeared quite ordinary, with just a few houses clustered together. A street ran through the middle, surrounded by numerous other buildings.
"Where is this place? Is it the village we initially planned to visit?" Sera and Lilu Lu exchanged glances as they spoke.
In the village, some locals had noticed them; after all, who wouldn't look at six beautiful girls?
"This must be the village Zhang Chulan was supposed to come to. Should we head to the cemetery and wait for him?" Liu Yanyan suggested, contemplating digging up Zhang Chulan's ancestral grave.
