Sera looked at Li Yunqing with a pitiful expression, and Li Yunqing gave her a quick kiss.
"Come on, Sera. Just five minutes, I'll be back in five minutes, okay?"
Sera pouted and gave Li Yunqing a kiss.
"Then hurry back, husband."
Lilu Lu also hugged Li Yunqing and gave him a kiss.
"Hurry back, husband."
"Alright, my dear."
Li Yunqing ruffled Lilu Lu's hair before heading off to buy ice cream.
Sera and Lilu Lu stood hand in hand at the entrance of the shop, waiting to start the barbecue.
The Barbecue Boss was a middle-aged man who looked at the two girls standing at the door like they were waiting for their husbands. While grilling, he chuckled and said, "You two really have a strong bond. You've only been apart for a little while, and you already miss him so much."
"Yes," Sera replied. "We've been with our husband for so long, but this is the first time we've been away from him for this long."
The Barbecue Boss was surprised by Sera's words. "Husband? Are you two married?"
Sera and Lilu Lu exchanged glances and shook their heads.
"In our situation, we can't get married," Sera explained.
The Barbecue Boss looked at the two girls and nodded. "Indeed, in our country, marriage is only allowed between one man and one woman."
"Oh? Is that how it is?" Sera and Lilu Lu looked at the Barbecue Boss in surprise.
Barbecue Boss looked at Sera and Lilu Lu with some confusion. Could it be that the two of them couldn't marry that guy because they were twins?
Both sides stared at each other, the air feeling a bit tense. As time passed, the sight of two beautiful women waiting in front of the barbecue shop attracted quite a few passersby who came over to buy something.
The guy didn’t seem interested in striking up a conversation, but the girls were much bolder, directly surrounding Sera and Lilu Lu.
"Hey, are you two twins? You look so alike!"
"Are you foreigners? You're so tall! And your hair is golden and white!"
Sera and Lilu Lu hugged each other, feeling a bit at a loss as several girls approached them out of the blue while they were waiting for their barbecue.
"Um, do you need something? We're just here waiting for our food," Lilu Lu said to the girls surrounding them.
At that moment, Barbecue Boss finished packing their order and handed it over.
"Here’s your barbecue."
"Thank you," Lilu Lu replied as she took the food and pulled her sister aside. They had been standing right at the entrance of the barbecue shop, and the girls had nearly blocked the doorway, which was quite inconvenient.
However, they didn’t move too far away since they still needed to wait for Li Yunqing.
While Sera and Lilu Lu were still being approached by the girls, they suddenly heard a familiar voice calling out.
"Excuse me, could you make some room?"
"Hey! Why is a guy squeezing in here?"
"Yeah, this area is all girls; what are you doing here?"
Li Yunqing looked around at the girls with some exasperation. He had just gone to buy an ice cream and returned to find several girls surrounding Sera and Lilu Lu at the entrance of the barbecue shop.
Hearing Li Yunqing's voice, Sera and Lilu Lu pushed through the crowd of girls and rushed towards him.
"Honey!"
Li Yunqing looked at Sera and Lilu Lu, who were hugging him tightly, and raised his hands slightly. Both of his hands held ice cream.
He glanced at the two girls who were clinging to him and smiled, then brought the ice cream closer to their mouths. "It's okay, here, have a bite of ice cream to calm your nerves."
Li Yunqing slowly walked out of the crowd with Sera and Lilu Lu.
Sera and Lilu Lu glanced at the ice cream near their lips and gently took a bite.
"Mmm, it's cold and sweet!"
However, they still wished that their husband wouldn't leave them. "Don't leave us."
The three of them walked further away, leaving the other girls exchanging glances in disbelief.
Could this man really be the husband of those two exquisite twin sisters?
It must be a joke, right?
Yet, they looked so happy together.
