Unlike Sera, who is too submissive and lacks her own opinions, Lilu Lu often finds herself taking the lead in their discussions. However, if her sister is particularly adamant about something, Lilu Lu will still listen to her. Even though they are not in a dire situation at the moment, Sera believes that their encounter under these circumstances might indeed be what the wizard referred to as "the chosen ones."
Lilu Lu understands that the wizard's chosen ones are likely meant to control them, otherwise, given their current situation, it seems unlikely that the wizard could have anticipated this outcome. As for the chosen one?
Lilu Lu glanced at Li Yunqing, who was sitting on the sofa, sipping an Ice Cola while watching them with great interest. Well, a chosen one is still a chosen one. After all, my sister and I are merely here to serve him in exchange for his powers.
Thus, she agreed to her sister's words.
Sera looked at Lilu Lu with joy. "Lilu Lu, do you agree to accept this gentleman as our chosen one?"
"Well, didn't you say he wants to marry us? Even if we acknowledge him as our chosen one now, I doubt he would act inappropriately."
"That's wonderful!" Sera exclaimed, jumping up in excitement before turning toward Li Yunqing.
Seeing her sister so happy made Lilu Lu sigh. Having such a sister could be considered a burden, but what could she do? After all, she is my sister, and Lilu Lu had no regrets.
"Chosen one! From now on, you are our chosen one!"
Sera exclaimed as she knelt before Li Yunqing. Lilu Lu watched her sister's actions and followed suit.
"Chosen one!" Lilu Lu echoed as she knelt down as well.
Li Yunqing hurriedly helped both girls up. "Get up! I intended for you to be my wives, but you treat me like I'm your chosen one. That's not what I had in mind."
They had been sitting close enough that Li Yunqing could easily hear their conversation. As for Sera's naive enthusiasm, he decided to just go with the flow.
"Thank you, chosen one!"
Sera and Lilu Lu stood up and sat beside Li Yunqing, each wrapping an arm around his. They gazed at him intently.
"What are you staring at me for?"
"Of course, we need to remember what you look like!" Sera replied.
Seeing her adorable and innocent expression, Li Yunqing couldn't help but pat her head. Sera felt Li Yunqing's large hand and didn't pull away; instead, she nuzzled against it.
After a moment, Li Yunqing withdrew her hand. "Alright, it's late. Time for bed. I'll take a shower first. There's only one bed right now, so you two can sleep with me later."
With that, Li Yunqing stood up and headed toward the bathroom.
Sera glanced at Lilu Lu. Before she could think much about it, she saw her sister already at the bathroom door, so she hurried to follow.
"Oh, the door is open."
Time passed, and before long, dawn broke. Li Yunqing looked at Sera and Lilu Lu still sleeping beside her and smiled.
