Li Yunqing finally processed what Sera had said and scratched his head. "I just wanted to experiment a bit to see what different effects it would have. Now, let me switch you to the best one."
As he spoke, Li Yunqing took out the most powerful Mouse Charm he had. He glanced at Sera, pondering how to retrieve the Mouse Charm that had just entered her body. Should he just reach in directly? After considering it for a moment, he realized there wasn’t really any other option, so he reached toward Sera.
Sera noticed Li Yunqing's movement and felt a bit shy but did not resist. Li Yunqing's hand went straight into Sera's body, and he quickly felt the charm inside. Once he grasped it, he pulled his hand back.
Sera stood still, frozen in place.
What’s happening? Lilu Lu watched their actions with confusion but didn’t ask any questions. However, seeing her sister suddenly become statue-like made her feel something was off.
Li Yunqing ignored her and directly inserted the Mouse Charm he had just retrieved from Cang Jie back into Sera’s body. A flash of green light enveloped them, and Sera began to move again. The first thing she did was place her hand under her nose, then smiled coyly as she took a deep breath.
Li Yunqing was somewhat surprised by Sera's reaction. Could it be that the activation of the Mouse Charm allowed her to retain memories from when she was under its influence?
Seeing Sera move again, Lilu Lu sighed in relief and rushed over to hug her sister. "Sister, what just happened? You were like a statue! And who is this man?"
Sera gently patted Lilu Lu’s head. "It’s okay, it’s okay. As for this gentleman, he is our destined master."
"Master?" Lilu Lu looked curiously at Li Yunqing. Is this really the master that the wizard spoke of? Aside from being handsome, there didn’t seem to be anything special about him.
Master? Was that originally how it was set up?
Li Yunqing wasn’t very clear on the background story of Sera and Lilu Lu, but he understood that Sera’s identity as a saint was established for the sake of the master mentioned by the wizard. It seemed like just a story meant to deceive two little girls.
After all, whoever the wizard said was their master must be so.
"Sera, you should clarify things with your sister first."
After some thought, Li Yunqing did not directly accept the title of "Master." After all, he wasn't just some random person; having two living beings call him Master felt a bit strange.
"Alright, Master," Sera said gently.
Seeing Sera so immersed in her role, Li Yunqing felt he had no choice but to go along with it. After all, her character was originally designed to be sweet and gentle.
"Let's leave the decision to Lilu Lu, the more rational Saintess," he thought.
Li Yunqing sat on the sofa, watching the two women converse. To be honest, having two stunningly beautiful women dressed so revealingly in his living room was quite exhilarating. However, if he wanted them to become his second wives, it would have to be through persuasion and understanding; he would never resort to coercion. After all, he was not a villain.
Meanwhile, Lilu Lu listened to Sera's explanation and learned that both she and her sister were brought to life by this gentleman through the creation of statues that were later revived. This meant that she and her sister were not truly human but merely statues. According to her sister, this gentleman seemed to want them as wives. But if a statue became a person, could they still be considered human?
This method certainly had its conveniences; in the future, if he liked someone, he could simply carve a statue of them and then bring it to life. However, there must be drawbacks—like retaining memories from their previous existence.
