The two walked for a while before stopping at the entrance of a residential complex.
"We're here. I live inside," Shen Xin said, looking up at Li Yunqing.
Li Yunqing glanced inside and replied, "I haven't heard of this place before. I wonder what the property management is like?"
Shen Xin chuckled at this. "I just moved in two months ago. Why don't you come in and take a look? My place is quite spacious!"
Li Yunqing found her words somewhat familiar. "Is that you, Jie Ge?"
"No, no, you've been living here for two months; you should know better. Just talk to me later," she said playfully. "Well, I'm going in now."
Shen Xin had only said that casually and didn’t really expect Li Yunqing to come over.
She released her hold on Li Yunqing's arm and took a couple of steps toward the entrance of the complex. Suddenly, she seemed to remember something and turned to look at him.
Li Yunqing stood there, ready to watch Shen Xin enter, but he looked back at her with some confusion.
"What’s up?"
Shen Xin jumped up and hugged Li Yunqing, planting a kiss on his cheek.
Despite Li Yunqing's exceptional physical abilities, he didn’t stumble or fall; instead, he steadied himself and caught Shen Xin, holding her securely.
After the kiss, Shen Xin let go, and Li Yunqing released her as well, allowing her to stand on her own.
As soon as she was on her feet, Shen Xin dashed toward the entrance of the complex.
"Good night! Xiao Yunqing!" she called out as she reached the door.
Li Yunqing smiled at her enthusiasm. "Good night!" he replied, his voice neither too loud nor too soft; after all, it was nearly eleven o'clock, and many people were likely asleep. However, it seemed Shen Xin heard him as she waved back. He waved in response.
Feeling the cool evening breeze brushing against him, Li Yunqing decided to take a stroll before heading home.
In the university town at night, it was relatively quiet, but since it was the weekend, most students without classes were out enjoying themselves, so there were still quite a few people around.
As Li Yunqing watched one energetic student after another walk by, he felt a twinge of nostalgia, though he couldn't quite pinpoint what he was feeling nostalgic about.
After walking for a while, he found a secluded corner without anyone around or any surveillance. Activating his Space Ring, he instantly appeared in his living room.
He took a bottle of Ice Cola from the fridge and settled down in the living room, gazing at the crescent moon above and the twinkling stars below.
As night fell, his thoughts became increasingly muddled, just as people often say. Now, compared to the sadness he had felt before, Li Yunqing found himself at a loss for how to choose. It seemed that three beautiful girls were all interested in him, but he didn’t know who he truly liked—or if he liked them all.
After pondering for a long time without coming to any conclusions, Li Yunqing decided to stop overthinking and just go with the flow.
Glancing back into the living room, he noticed two figures standing there—his two purchased Figures. These were part of an experiment for Li Yunqing’s virtual wives; after all, unlike real-life relationships, virtual wives weren't bound by legal constraints. He could have as many virtual wives as he wanted.
Li Yunqing moved from the balcony to the sofa and placed both Figures in front of him. Then he took out a prepared Mouse Charm from Cang Jie.
He decided to start with a Mouse Charm that had not yet been activated. Holding the Mouse Charm close to his sister Sheng Liang's Figure, it merged directly into the Figure's body.
A flash of green light passed through, and soon the Figure's hand began to move, followed by its body.
What is this? Where am I?
Sheng Liang crossed her arms anxiously and cautiously looked around before fixing her gaze on Li Yunqing, who was sitting on the sofa.
Who are you?
Li Yunqing was examining Sheng Liang; her entire form seemed unchanged—very realistic—but there were still subtle differences from a human body that were noticeable.
Who I am isn’t important; what matters is who you are.
I am Sera, a saintess.
Sera felt a bit puzzled, but after a moment of reflection, she realized the truth. This wasn't the sister Sheng Liang in her usual attire; it was her true self, Sera.
However, there wasn't much difference; they were essentially the same.
"Sera? What do you think I am?" she asked.
"Huh? I suppose I'm human, right? You haven't done anything strange to me," Sera replied, glancing around with her eyes.
