After a while, Li Yunqing calmed down, lying on the bed and staring blankly at the Tian Ling Board. He was deep in thought. After the recent events, he realized that his interests extended beyond just the two-dimensional world; he found himself attracted to beautiful women in general.
If it hadn't been for the sudden discovery of his special abilities yesterday, Li Yunqing might have seriously sought true love among the women around him and lived a simple, ordinary life. However, now that he possessed extraordinary powers, he couldn't help but explore their mysteries. Curiosity is an inherent trait of humanity; even though it can lead to trouble, it was something he couldn't resist.
For instance, last night, even while lying in bed, his active mind was racing with countless thoughts. With his newfound spatial abilities, he could travel to any world. He could learn the dual-wielding technique from the realm of swords and blades, where Tong Grandpa had once impressed him greatly. He could even visit the world of One Punch Man to spar with the bald-headed villain.
He had the ability to extract anything from any work of fiction. If he wanted to, he could become the richest person alive or the strongest warrior. But then he thought about his father and his close friends—what would happen to them? His father was a businessman who cared for him but had little time to focus on him. Leaving for ten days or half a month wouldn’t be a problem.
He could resign from his job at the company, but dealing with the three women in his living room would be more complicated. He wasn’t foolish; he sensed that each of them had different feelings for him. Wan Hong regarded him as an older brother, but since he wasn't her biological brother, her feelings were not limited to familial love.
Gu Qingqing also saw him as an older brother, but unlike Wan Hong's dependence on him, there was a sense of affection in her desire to be cared for by an adult. Shen Xin genuinely liked him; however, due to her age being greater than Li Yunqing's and the presence of Wan Hong and Gu Qingqing, she had never dared to express her feelings clearly.
As for whom Li Yunqing liked? It was hard to say; perhaps he liked all three of them, as if he had gained two younger sisters and an older sister. He had only felt the warmth of family when he was young and spent time with his father. As he grew older and conflicts arose between them, he found himself caught in between. Although mature for his age, he still yearned for familial affection.
Thus, his feelings toward the three women were primarily rooted in familial love; they brought back a sense of warmth that he hadn’t felt in a long time. If one were to speak of romantic love? If it came down to it, Shen Xin would be the one who stood out most in his heart. As for the other two, despite being considered adults, their ages still felt a bit young for Li Yunqing.
After pondering for a long time without reaching any conclusions and feeling even more confused, Li Yunqing decided to close his eyes and take a short nap.
After a while, Li Yunqing's door opened silently. Two small heads peeked through the crack—Gu Qingqing and Shen Xin. Wan Hong also wanted to poke her head in but couldn’t see over them due to her height.
Gu Qingqing and Shen Xin looked around and noticed that Li Yunqing was lying on the bed without moving; he must have fallen asleep.
Gently, she opened the door and tiptoed inside. Gu Qingqing and Wan Hong stood to the right of Li Yunqing's bed, while Shen Xin was on the left. The three women leaned in, trying to get a closer look at Li Yunqing as he slept.
However, at that moment, Li Yunqing was actually awake. In fact, he had woken up when the door opened. His body was strong, and even in sleep, he was particularly sensitive to his surroundings. The moment Gu Qingqing and Shen Xin entered, he sensed them and opened his eyes.
Noticing how quietly the three were trying to approach him, he decided to pretend to be asleep. Li Yunqing had intended to scare them a little, but why were they getting so close? He could even feel their breath against his face.
Seeing Shen Xin leaning in so closely, Gu Qingqing pouted and gently pushed Shen Xin's face away. She spoke very carefully, "Why are you getting so close?"
