Li Yunqing had gathered some information about the upcoming comic convention during the email exchanges. This time, many talented figure makers from abroad were invited to China by various companies to participate in the event. The focus of the convention was primarily on figures, and there were fewer invitations extended.
Most of the attendees were volunteers, like the three girls who followed Li Yunqing. They headed straight to the figure area, which was where they had just been surrounded by a crowd, likely missing out on appreciating the figures.
Li Yunqing nodded and led them to the figure area. As soon as they arrived, they spotted an incredibly lifelike Black Widow figure standing there. The three girls rushed over, and many others were also admiring it.
"Wow! It's so realistic!" Gu Qingqing exclaimed, reaching out to touch it. Others around her noticed her action but no one intervened. In fact, such hyper-realistic figures were not meant to be touched casually.
Next to the figure sat a figure maker, who kept a watchful eye on the crowd. If anyone attempted to touch the figure, he would step in to stop them. Li Yunqing glanced at the burly man beside the figure, who seemed oblivious, but he quickly moved next to Gu Qingqing to prevent her from continuing to reach out.
"You can't just touch it like that," Li Yunqing whispered in her ear. "If you want to interact with such a figure, you need to discuss it with the figure maker first. Touching it directly could get you in trouble."
"Oh! I see," Gu Qingqing said hurriedly retracting her hand.
The four of them then stood by and began to admire the Black Widow figure closely. This particular figure was crafted based on the actress's appearance from the movie, capturing even tiny details like veins and other features—though it lacked any sweat effects. If they had managed to create sweat effects as well, that would have been something extraordinary.
After observing for a while, Li Yunqing led the three girls away to check out the next display. Seeing such a realistic figure made him consider buying one for himself as a mouse charm, but he needed to think about which figure he wanted. If it were something like Black Widow—an agent loyal to her country—he hesitated; although this wasn't her world, she had experienced much. Who knew what kind of trouble she could bring? It was better not to take any chances.
Before long, the four of them arrived at another crowd gathered together. Li Yunqing pushed through the throng, leading the three women into the inner circle.
"Sailor Moon?"
Li Yunqing looked at the figures before him, dressed in sailor uniforms with colorful hair and holding wands. This had to be Sailor Moon, right? It seemed like it, but he wasn't sure; it wasn't something he followed closely.
Gu Qingqing also gazed at the figures with confusion.
Wan Hong shook her head. "I haven't seen it either; I've only seen pictures."
Shen Xin, however, smiled and said, "I've seen it, but I'm not too sure. After all, this is a live-action version, and isn't that chest a bit too big? The hairstyle doesn't seem quite right either."
A passerby nearby overheard their conversation and chuckled. "That's not the typical Magical Girl. From my experience, it looks like a character from some game."
The three women shook their heads in unison, expressing their lack of knowledge. They weren't into gaming, so they had no idea what was normal.
Li Yunqing was different; he had played many games. He pondered what could fit the Magical Girl genre, which was quite limited. Generally, those games weren't exactly mainstream.
"Five Magical Girl games?"
"Magical Girl?"
Li Yunqing hesitantly named a game.
The passerby looked surprised at Li Yunqing and then grinned lewdly. "Wow, brother, you know about this? You must play a lot! Want to add me as a friend and swap tips?"
"Not interested," Li Yunqing replied curtly. "There are plenty of idle games out there; it's not worth playing."
"Ah, you don't understand—the story is what makes it fun!"
Li Yunqing ignored the passerby completely.
Meanwhile, the three women looked at Li Yunqing with curiosity.
Li Yunqing looked at Qi San Nu and scratched his head. "It's nothing, just a simple life simulation game."
"Can we play it? I've never played a Magical Girl game before!" Gu Qingqing said excitedly as she turned to Li Yunqing. Wan Hong also shyly glanced at him, while Shen Xin shot him a look filled with unspoken emotions.
