Three exhausted little ones had no idea how long they had been asleep when Xiao Zhuzi finally woke up. Rubbing her sleepy eyes, she looked around and noticed that Xi Xi and Fei Bao were already awake, each busy with their own tasks. Fei Bao was squatting on the ground, carefully counting and organizing their belongings, while Xi Xi was nearby, filling several water bottles from the Underground River. 0

Seeing Xiao Zhuzi awake, Xi Xi smiled and said, "Xiao Zhuzi is up! We need to fill all the water bottles; who knows how long the road ahead will be?" 0

Xiao Zhuzi stretched widely, feeling all her bones joyfully relax. Taking a deep breath, she sincerely remarked, "This might be the best sleep I've had in a while." With that, she hurried over to help. 0

As she assisted Xi Xi with the water, Xiao Zhuzi's gaze inadvertently fell on the wooden sticks they had used for rowing the boat yesterday. Thoughtfully, she picked one up and weighed it in her hand before turning to Xi Xi and saying, "Xi Xi, let’s take these two sticks with us. I think they’ll be quite useful. They can serve as walking sticks and can also be used for self-defense if necessary." 0

Xi Xi thought this was a great idea and nodded approvingly. "Xiao Zhuzi, you’ve really changed a lot on this journey! Not only are you the brains of our little team, but you’re also becoming braver and more resilient!" 0

Xiao Zhuzi smiled shyly, a hint of blush appearing on her cheeks. She picked up the sticks and returned to their gear alongside Xi Xi. The three friends worked together diligently and soon packed everything up. Then, the Ground Sky Squad continued onward without hesitation into the depths of the Underground Cavern. 0

After traveling for a while, the surroundings began to change subtly. In addition to the flickering Fluorite above them, peculiar Bioluminescent Fungi started to appear on the cave walls. These fungi emitted a soft blue-green glow, casting a dreamlike aura over every corner of the cavern. The blue-green Bioluminescent Fungi contrasted beautifully with the pale yellow light of the Fluorite, enveloping the entire cave in a mysterious and enchanting atmosphere. 0

"Wow! It’s so beautiful!" Xiao Zhuzi exclaimed with wide eyes. "These Bioluminescent Fungi look just like stars in an underground forest." 0

However, as they continued forward, the beautiful scenery was gradually replaced by an unsettling feeling. The air seemed to be growing warmer; what had once been a cool cave was becoming increasingly hot and even unbearable. 0

Xi Xi wiped the beads of sweat from her forehead and frowned in confusion. "Do you guys feel like it’s getting hotter here?" 0

Xiao Zhuzi nodded and took a deep breath. "I’m sweating too, and I feel like it’s getting harder to breathe." 0

Fei Bao looked around alertly, keenly sensing something unusual. "Maybe it’s because of that Steam! Look over there!" He pointed at a crack in the rock wall where steam was slowly escaping, forming wisps of white mist in the air. 0

Xiao Zhuzi and her friends stopped to observe their surroundings closely. They were surprised to find that many cracks in the rock wall were emitting steam; this steam seemed to be the reason for the rising temperature. The heat distorted the air around them, making distant sights appear somewhat blurry. 0

"It seems we might be approaching some heat source in the Underground Cave," Fei Bao analyzed. "It could be an underground hot spring or something more dangerous." 0

Xiao Zhuzi exchanged worried glances with Xi Xi. Despite having faced many adventures already, this situation still made them feel uneasy and tense. 0

"We need to be more careful," Xiao Zhuzi said instinctively tightening her grip on the stick in her hand. "Who knows what we might encounter ahead?" 0

The three friends cautiously advanced along the narrow passage of the cave; the heat in the air became increasingly unbearable, making it feel as if they were inside a giant steamer. Sweat continuously dripped from their foreheads; Xiao Zhuzi's clothes became soaked with perspiration, clinging uncomfortably to her skin. As they turned a steep corner, they suddenly found themselves in an astonishing scene. 0

"Oh my gosh!" Xiao Zhuzi exclaimed involuntarily stepping back and nearly bumping into Xi Xi behind her. 0

Xi Xi and Fei Bao also widened their eyes in shock at what lay before them. 0

Before them was an unimaginably vast underground space with a sprawling Lava Lake at its center. The searing red lava flowed slowly, bubbles occasionally rising from its surface and bursting with an eerie hissing sound. The entire cavern was illuminated by the glow of lava, casting an eerie yet spectacular orange-red hue. 0

The surface of Lava Lake was not calm; small eruptions occurred from time to time as scalding lava was thrown into the air, tracing fiery arcs before crashing back into the lake with explosive splashes. Cooler rocks floated along the lakeside, moving slowly with the flow of lava and colliding with each other with dull thuds. 0

The air was thick with a pungent sulfur smell along with other indescribable odors that made Xiao Zhuzi and her friends cough incessantly. Waves of heat rose from Lava Lake, making it feel as if they could melt at any moment. 0
