To decipher the symbols in the ancient texts, Su Yuqing contacted a senior professor from her institute. The professor, well-versed in the study of ancient scripts, rushed over to assist upon hearing the news. The three of them gathered around the ancient texts, and the professor put on his reading glasses, carefully examining the symbols. At times he furrowed his brow in thought, and at other times he jotted down notes on paper. 0

After several hours of research, the professor finally made a breakthrough. He excitedly pointed to a symbol in the ancient text and said, “These symbols may seem chaotic at first glance, but they are actually an ancient form of encrypted writing that bears similarities to a type of sacrificial script I studied previously. After comparison and deduction, I believe I can interpret part of its content.” 0

Lin Mo and Su Yuqing perked up at this revelation and leaned in to listen intently. The professor continued slowly, “This passage mentions that the Time-Space Rift is a mysterious force that connects different timelines. And Lin Mo, the Striation on your forehead is the key to unlocking the Time-Space Rift, but it also serves as a curse mark. This curse originated from a conflict thousands of years ago when a Mysterious Organization attempted to control time and space to alter history for their own nefarious purposes.” 0

Lin Mo felt a jolt of alarm and quickly asked, “Is there any way to lift this curse?” The professor shook his head, revealing a look of regret on his face. “I have not yet deciphered any information regarding how to lift the curse, but based on what we know so far, it seems that breaking the curse may be related to the Mysterious Organization’s schemes and the core secrets of the Time-Space Rift.” 0

Just as they were discussing this, a sudden commotion erupted outside the research institute. Lin Mo cautiously approached the window and saw a group of men in black rapidly approaching the building. Alarm bells rang in his mind; he turned back to Su Yuqing and the professor and said urgently, “This is bad! It’s likely that members of the Mysterious Organization have found us. We need to leave immediately!” 0

The three hurriedly gathered the ancient texts and some important documents, preparing to escape through the back door of the institute. However, when they reached the back exit, they found it blocked by more men in black. Lin Mo scanned his surroundings and noticed only one path leading to the rooftop; perhaps they could find an escape route from there. 0

They raced up the stairs toward the rooftop while being closely pursued by their assailants. With each floor they ascended, Lin Mo could hear footsteps and shouts growing louder behind them, intensifying his sense of urgency. Finally, they reached the rooftop. It was starkly empty with no place to hide as the men in black began to close in. 0

“Hand over the ancient texts or none of you will leave here alive!” demanded the leader of the black-clad men menacingly. Lin Mo clutched the ancient texts tightly and replied defiantly, “Not a chance! I will uncover whatever scheme you are plotting!” 0

The two sides faced off in a tense standoff. Suddenly, Lin Mo’s Striation began to glow again—brighter than ever before. The light caused confusion among the men in black as they instinctively took steps back. Seizing this opportunity, Lin Mo concentrated his energy, attempting to harness this power to break through their encirclement. 0

He closed his eyes and silently recalled what it felt like during his previous time-traveling experiences. As the light intensified, space around them began to warp, and time seemed to slow down. The men in black stared at this unfolding spectacle in astonishment. 0

At that moment, Lin Mo felt a powerful force enveloping him along with Su Yuqing and the professor. When he opened his eyes again, they found themselves in an unfamiliar place—an ancient ruin surrounded by crumbling buildings and massive stone pillars filled with an air of mystery. 0

“Where are we?” Su Yuqing asked in surprise. Lin Mo shook his head; he too was unsure but sensed that this place was undoubtedly connected to the Time-Space Rift. 0

They cautiously explored within the ruins and discovered strange patterns and symbols that resembled those from the ancient texts. Lin Mo speculated that hidden within these ruins might be crucial clues for breaking the curse and thwarting the Mysterious Organization’s plans. 0

As they ventured deeper into the ruins, they suddenly heard a low growl echoing through the vast space—a sound that sent chills down their spines. Moments later, a gigantic beast charged out from the shadows. Towering two stories high with scales as dark as night and eyes glowing with an eerie red light, it drooled green slime from its mouth. 0

“What kind of monster is this?” exclaimed the professor in terror. Lin Mo stepped forward resolutely and said, “No matter what it is, we cannot back down. Everyone be careful!” 0

The beast lunged at them with claws bared while Lin Mo focused his energy, using his time-traveling abilities to confront it. He realized that his strength seemed enhanced in this mysterious place; each attack inflicted damage on the beast. 0

Su Yuqing was not idle either; she searched for anything useful among the ruins. Suddenly she spotted a large crystal on the ground inscribed with strange symbols. Remembering what she had read in the ancient texts, she speculated that this crystal might possess special powers. 0

Su Yuqing picked up the crystal and began chanting softly. Suddenly it emitted a brilliant beam of light directed at the beast; upon being struck by this light, it roared in pain and became sluggish in its movements. Taking advantage of this momentary weakness, Lin Mo launched a more ferocious attack until finally—through their combined efforts—the beast collapsed into a pile of black dust. 0

After defeating the monster, they continued exploring within the ruins until they reached its depths where they discovered a massive stone tablet covered with dense inscriptions—exactly like those from earlier deciphered by their professor. 0

The professor immediately began interpreting what was inscribed on it; as he delved deeper into its meanings, truths began to surface. It turned out that thousands of years ago, a Mysterious Organization had created the Time-Space Rift in their quest for control over time itself—a reckless act that led to chaos across timelines. To stop them, a woman with special abilities had cast a curse sealing part of its power while scattering keys needed to unlock it across various timelines and individuals—one of whom was Lin Mo himself. 0

“So you’re saying that Lin Mo’s curse exists to protect time itself?” Su Yuqing asked incredulously. The professor nodded affirmatively: “Exactly! However, the Mysterious Organization has never given up on finding ways to break this curse; they aim to regain control over Time-Space Rift's powers to fulfill their ambitions.” 0

Lin Mo finally understood his mission; gazing at the inscriptions on the stone tablet he declared resolutely: “In that case, I will not let them succeed! I must lift this curse and stop their schemes!” 0

Yet just as they prepared to leave these ruins behind them, they discovered that members of Mysterious Organization were hot on their trail once more. Leading them was none other than that same man in black who had been watching Lin Mo all along; he glared coldly at him and said ominously: “You think you can escape? Hand over what’s inscribed on that tablet or you’ll all die!” 0

A new crisis is about to descend. Will Lin Mo, Su Yuqing, and the old professor be able to turn the tide once again? How will they respond to the relentless pressure from the Mysterious Organization? 0
