I want it too! Let's eat together!
On the bustling commercial street, Xu Weixia was clinging to her brother, enjoying a yogurt cone. Their father had only bought one, so the siblings were sharing it. If they each had one, they might end up with stomachaches.
Anna and Eva, on the other hand, had no such worries. The sisters were happily walking ahead, each holding a giant ice cream container topped with dried fruits and chocolate chips, scooping and eating with their little spoons.
Xu Li had a cigarette dangling from his mouth. In his left hand, he held a bunch of balloons in various shapes, while his right hand carried several large bags filled with snacks and toys that his wife and children liked. Watching his family enjoy their treats brought a smile to his face.
"Hey, let’s drink together!"
At the steps outside a bar, four drunks were chatting while drinking. Suddenly, one of them grabbed Eva's wrist as she passed by, startling her and causing her to scream. The ice cream container fell to the ground.
"What are you doing?"
Eva was frightened and tried to pull her hand away. She worried that her small demeanor would make the drunks laugh even harder. Even the security guards at the bar were shaking their heads with amused expressions; they had seen this kind of thing many times before. As long as there was no trouble inside the bar, they wouldn’t intervene!
Xu Li's expression darkened as he watched. He dropped the bag he was holding on the ground and handed the balloons to the frightened Anna, telling her to take the kids to safety behind her. Then he unzipped his leather jacket and slowly approached.
He reached out and grabbed the drunkard by the shoulder, squeezing tightly. "Crack!"
The drunkard's left arm immediately went limp. Xu Li snatched the large bottle of alcohol from his right hand and smashed it against the drunkard's head: "Bang!"
The bottle held up surprisingly well and didn’t shatter! So he struck again on the drunkard’s head; this time, the bottle broke, and the drunkard collapsed to the ground. Xu Li pulled Eva behind him and kicked the nearest drunkard down.
Then he picked up a half-exposed red brick from the snow nearby and started pummeling all the drunks around him until they were all groaning on the ground. Finally, he spat on the ground in frustration and threw the brick at the bar's glass door: "Bang!"
Fortunately, it was tempered glass; it didn’t break! But it did anger the four security guards watching from a distance. As they began to descend the steps with their guns drawn, Xu Li waved his gun dismissively: "Get over here."
"Do you know whose bar this is?" One of them reluctantly approached Xu Li after they came down. "You better leave quickly; otherwise, when we come out, you and your girlfriend will be in trouble!"
"Do you think I’m afraid of your threats?"
Xu Li aimed a gun at the man's thigh and fired: bang!
The man, despite his bravado, turned red in the face and clutched his wound without uttering a word. The sudden gunshot sent nearby pedestrians and some who were about to enter the bar scattering in panic.
Xu Li spat on the man's face and sneered, "Suka Blyat, weren't you laughing just now? Give me another laugh."
Seeing the man remain silent, he kicked him to the ground. "Aren't you able to laugh? Laugh for me!"
Not laughing, huh? Xu Li noticed the man glaring at him and shot through the back of his hand that was covering the wound: "Laugh!"
He slowly raised his gun. "I'll say it again: laugh for me, or the next shot will go through your head."
"Sir, that's enough. Lukashenko doesn't know that lady is your girlfriend."
A burly man beside the fallen man bit his lip, intending to calm Xu Li down. The other two men exchanged glances and suddenly lunged at Xu Li, trying to grab his gun. One was shot through the neck, while Xu Li kicked the other one rolling on the ground.
Meanwhile, the man who spoke took the opportunity to slip into the bar to call for help. Xu Li shot both legs of the man he had just kicked down and then ran a short distance to Anna and the children, swapping out his gun's magazine.
He handed it to Anna. "You all go first. No matter who dares to talk to you, just aim and pull the trigger like you're shooting sheep on a ranch. Once you're safe, call Ivan."
"Okay, I understand!"
Anna took the gun and grabbed Xu Weihua's small hand as they ran. Eva, frightened, held onto Xu Weixia's hand, following her sister while wiping her tears.
Xu Li turned around and walked to the bar entrance, glancing at the groaning thugs on the ground. He picked up a piece of red brick with a corner missing and opened the glass door, then grabbed a metal rod hanging by the door and wedged it between the two door handles.
Bang! Bang! Bang! "Suka! Suka! Suka Blyat! Hahaha! Suka!"
The bar was filled with deafening noise, cheap perfume scents mingling with acrid smoke and overpowering alcohol odors made Xu Li feel disgusted as he entered for the first time. He took cover behind a booth near the entrance with his brick in hand.
He casually grabbed a large ashtray from a nearby table. A few Xiao Nianqing patrons in the booth looked at him with dissatisfaction; one spirited young man tossed a cigarette butt at him. "Who are you? Taking our ashtray?"
Xu Li glanced at the cigarette butt rolling at his feet and then saw over a dozen burly men charging out from across the dance floor. He licked his lips but ignored them, merely shaking his red brick in their direction, which made two young girls shrink back in fear.
The remaining three spirited young men dared not shout anymore; they each held their bottles defensively, watching this strange man warily.
"Hurry up! Andrei and Peter got shot! That bastard might have run away!"
The burly man who had just slipped into the bar now held an old gun in his hand; several men around him were also armed with Wu Yan weapons. However, Xu Li was unfazed!
Because I’m going to take them down!
Pop!
Crack!
The burly man's words were cut short as Xu Li sprang up violently, smashing his brick against his head without a sound as he collapsed to the ground. Following that, one of his companions was struck on the temple with an ashtray while another had their right leg broken by Xu Li's kick.
Xu Li swung the half brick in his hand and smashed it against the face of another man holding a gun. He then pushed the man backward as he began to collapse, shouting, "Get back!"
The seven or eight burly men were pushed back repeatedly. Xu Li exerted all his strength to scatter them, then grabbed a bottle from a nearby table and began to strike their heads with it: thud, thud, thud.
With a glance at the broken bottle in his hand, he grinned wickedly and charged at the exposed necks of the thugs, jabbing the sharp edge of the bottle into them.
While they were fighting, the drunks in the bar showed no intention of leaving; instead, they clutched their bottles and cigarettes, cheering them on, eager for more excitement.
Thud, thud, thud!
Xu Li felt a blow to his back and turned around with red eyes, tackling the thug to the ground. He jabbed the broken bottle into the thug's stomach three times before using his left hand like a fan to cover the thug's entire face.
Grabbing the thug by the face, he lifted him up and slammed him heavily onto the floor. The thug lay there twitching, no longer moving. Xu Li got up to look for his next opponent but found that aside from the drunks huddled together, all the thugs were sprawled on the ground, unconscious.
He took a cigarette from one of the drunks and lit it, taking a deep drag. Turning his head to glance at the young woman beside him, he asked, "How old are you to be drinking here?"
"Mind your own business, old man."
