Angelina excitedly lifted her little foot and placed it on the bear's back, daring to give it a gentle stomp. She turned to Eva with a sweet smile, "It feels so nice, Auntie."
"Of course!" Eva replied happily. Her two sons sat beside their grandfather, not daring to make a sound. Xu Li handed Angelina a cup of freshly brewed milk tea, "This is the pearl milk tea Uncle made just now. Be careful not to burn yourself."
"Thank you, Uncle," Angelina said as she took the cup, blew on it lightly, and took a small sip. Her big eyes sparkled with delight, "It's really delicious!"
"Hehe, as long as you like it. If it's gone, Uncle will pour you more."
"Okay!"
Xu Weihua looked eagerly at Old Father, "Dad, I'm thirsty too."
Xu Li turned and glared at his eldest son, "Don't you have hands or feet? You're old enough to serve yourself! Why do you have such a big face?"
After being scolded by Old Father, Xu Weihua shrank his neck and headed to the kitchen. As he passed by Xu Li, Old Father gave him a light smack on the back of his head, "You useless boy, bring your brother a cup too."
"Why should I?" Xu Weihua protested. "He has hands and feet just like me."
"Just because he’s taking care of Angelina while you’re not," Old Father shot back, hitting him right in the heart. This left Xu Weihua without any retort as he lowered his head and trudged into the kitchen. As he passed through the hallway, he ran into his mother, Anna. He grinned through tears and hugged her tightly, "Mom, I missed you so much."
"Why are you crying, sweetheart? Who bullied you?" Anna asked her son while casting a glance at her husband.
With his mother backing him up, Xu Weihua immediately perked up. "Dad scolded me so harshly!"
Anna's expression turned serious, "Misha, why did you scold my son?"
"You should ask him why the second one has brought his girlfriend home for the New Year while he’s still single and has the nerve to complain!" Xu Li waved his hand dismissively.
He then turned back to Angelina on the sofa who was stifling her laughter and began to check on her. Anna leaned over to glance at the pretty young girl holding her tea cup and chatting with Xu Li. Xu Weixia was grinning foolishly at her.
She pushed her eldest son aside and pinched his cheek playfully, "You! Your brother has found a girlfriend and you're still here complaining to your mom? Get out of here!"
She took off her boots and changed into slippers before sitting down next to Angelina. "I'm Nikola's mom, Anna. What's your name, dear?"
"Hello Auntie! I'm Angelina from Moscow."
The little girl knew about Xu Weixia's family situation, so she wouldn't ask such silly questions as why you are also his mother. With Angelina's support, Xu Weixia immediately perked up and took a sip of the milk tea handed to her by the older sibling. "Dad said we have some cattle at home, and Angelina hasn't tried it yet."
Xu Li, hearing his son's words, turned to look at the embarrassed Angelina and grinned as he stood up from his chair. "Just wait, Uncle will go slaughter one for you. Tonight, we’ll have hot pot with grilled beef."
Fortunately, when they introduced the breeding bull, they had also bought a few Beef Cattle to keep for the New Year when relatives came over. They planned to slaughter one to take to them. However, since his son's girlfriend was here, it wouldn’t do to not prepare one for her. Today's kids are much more discerning than before.
