Anan smacked his lips and could only utter a single word: impressive, before continuing to watch. The video switched to a bedroom, where it was unclear whether it was Anna or Eva, pouting at the camera and making a peace sign while trying to look cute. Anan nearly laughed himself to death, but he couldn't help but admire the figures of these two sisters-in-law, giving them a thumbs up and muttering two words: "wasting oil!"
The sisters had large frames, and among the taller girls in their area, they appeared somewhat plump. Yet their leg proportions were truly beautiful, not making them look fat at all. Just as he was staring intently, someone gave him a hard slap on the back of his head, nearly knocking his soul out of his body.
Xiao Dasha had somehow appeared behind him, pulling at his cheek in annoyance. "Didn't you say you wouldn't watch these videos?"
"This is a video uploaded by Brother Xu. Didn't you see that was Sister Anna just now?"
Anan rubbed the back of his head in defense, but Dasha slapped him again. "Don't use Sister Anna as an excuse; she wouldn't film something so childish."
As they spoke, Xiao Dasha suddenly swallowed hard. The video showed Xu Li bare-chested in the icy wilderness, leading two giant bears as he slowly walked up to a campfire. His facial features and explosive physique made the young girl drool.
"You’re drooling yourself; how can you lecture me?" Anan caught Dasha in the act of swallowing and felt wronged. Dasha cupped Anan's face and kissed him lightly on the mouth. "Consider this my apology."
"That's more like it." He grinned and let his increasingly plump little wife sit on his lap. Then he replayed the video for Dasha to see the Viking War Song from Huaxia; it seemed a bit convoluted.
After watching the entire video, Dasha couldn't help but give a thumbs up, using her limited Huaxia vocabulary to express her approval. Not satisfied yet, she clicked replay again, accompanied by a barrage of comments flooding the screen.
"Tonight is destined to be a sleepless night for many."
"Baby, the New Year is coming; are you not coming?"
Watching her increasingly handsome eldest son in the video, Anna eagerly awaited a response. Xu Weihua grinned widely. "Of course I’m coming! It’s been half a year since I saw Mom and Dad. I want to eat Dad's roasted whole lamb and sweet and sour ribs."
"Okay, okay! Call Mom before you come; I’ll pick out the fattest lamb for you."
Xu Weihua burrowed deeper into his blanket, looking at his rosy-cheeked mother with happiness in his eyes. He smiled back at her. "Alright, Mom."
By the way, baby, your mom and Eva's mom are also short video bloggers now! Your dad helped us gain followers; Mom has over ten thousand fans now!
Seeing her mother’s proud expression, Xu Weihua’s mouth dropped open. "When did this happen? You didn’t tell me or my little brother that you became bloggers!"
He tossed an orange at Xu Weixia, who was chatting with Eva on the opposite bed. "Little brother, our parents are video bloggers now; they just remembered us two brothers!"
Xu Weixia had a personality similar to Eva’s; she pouted at their mother in mock anger while watching the video. "Mom, such an important thing, and you only tell me now?"
Eva wrinkled her nose defiantly. "Hmph! Can't Mom have some little hobbies or secrets? Baby, what do you want to eat? Call me before you come; I’ll cook for you myself."
"I want roasted whole beef from one year old! And Dad's roasted duck and chopped duck!"
Thinking of Old Father's culinary skills made Xu Weixia's mouth water. Eva nodded eagerly, "Yes, yes! Call Mom before you come, and I'll have Dad pick out the best calf to roast for you."
Seeing her mother on the video, still radiating happiness, Xu Weixia felt joy as well. For him, the eldest brother, and their other siblings, the happiness of their parents meant their own happiness. Having spent nearly half a year in Moscow, they had seen many children from single-parent families, and compared to them, they felt like the luckiest ones.
"Mom, I’ll let you in on a secret—Big Brother seems to be in love."
"Big Brother is in love? Really?" Eva exclaimed, her voice rising in excitement. This caught the attention of her husband and sister nearby. Realizing her outburst, she stuck out her tongue sheepishly and smiled at her eldest son on the video. "It's getting late, sweetheart. Make sure to get some rest."
Anna happily leaned into her husband's embrace and turned the camera towards Xu Li. "Sweetheart, tell Daddy and Mommy if what the second one said is true!"
