With a sharp slap, Elder Liang sent Master Wu flying.
"You've offended Mr. Jiang; hurry up and apologize to him," Elder Liang scolded.
Master Wu, blood spilling from his mouth, could only reluctantly bow his head and apologize to Jiang Chen, despite his unwillingness.
"Enough. The weather is fine today, and I'm in a good mood. Just get out of my sight," Jiang Chen said, not wanting to escalate the situation further now that Elder Liang had already dealt with Master Wu.
Elder Liang forced a smile; although he was displeased with Jiang Chen's arrogant demeanor, he knew he was no match for him. He swallowed his anger and quickly left, feeling uncomfortable under the gaze of those around him.
Zhao Hun and Ding Shaowen, seeing that Master Wu and Elder Liang had departed, attempted to sneak away as well, but Jiang Chen called out to them.
"Master Wu had his master to discipline him; who do you have?" Jiang Chen asked with a hint of amusement.
Zhao Hun and Ding Shaowen regretted their earlier actions; had they known Elder Liang was unreliable, they wouldn't have sought trouble with Jiang Chen in the first place.
"Uh, Mr. Jiang, this is a misunderstanding. We didn't expect you to know Elder Liang; we're all friends here. We were quite rude earlier, please don't take it to heart," Zhao Hun said, his tone now submissive after having previously looked down on Jiang Chen.
"Ding Yan, how should we deal with these two?" Jiang Chen asked Ding Yan.
Ding Yan wanted nothing more than to kill them but ultimately held back her anger.
"Mr. Jiang, they're just two worthless pests; there's no need to take them seriously," Ding Yan replied.
"True, there's no need to dwell on it, but they are the instigators. If they remain here, they'll be an eyesore; let's throw them into the sea," Jiang Chen said decisively.
As soon as he finished speaking, before Zhao Hun and Ding Shaowen could react, they felt their bodies lighten suddenly and were thrown into the air, landing directly in the vast ocean below.
"Help!" they cried out as they splashed into the water, struggling and shouting for assistance. The ship was at least thirty nautical miles from shore; without help, their chances of survival were slim.
"Young Master, they'll die like this," Ding Yan said with concern; Zhao Hun was her mother's husband, and Ding Shaowen was her biological father—she couldn't harden her heart against them.
"If they die, so be it; their lives aren't worth much," Jiang Chen replied casually.
Ding Yan was left speechless, torn inside; Jiang Chen was even more ruthless than a killer. Yet his attitude towards his parents showed he had feelings too.
"Mr. Jiang, just teach those two a lesson; don't let it escalate to loss of life," Lin Rumei suggested.
"Since you're pleading for them, then throw them a couple of life rings; whether they survive or not is up to fate," Jiang Chen instructed Ding Yan to toss two life rings overboard.
As the cruise ship moved away, some people on deck felt anxious and uneasy.
Especially the Liu Family, Liu Toukang felt some regret about the falsified accounts.
"Elder Liang, after all, is a martial arts expert from Hong Kong Island. How could he be so frightened by this kid? It's truly disappointing," Han Baiying whispered, filled with disappointment towards Elder Liang.
"Mom, if Elder Liang is afraid of Mr. Jiang, then I'm really worried. What if Master Jia isn't even a match for Mr. Jiang? What are we going to do?" Liu Toukang said anxiously.
"Don't worry, Toukang. Elder Liang is Elder Liang, and Master Jia is Master Jia; they are not comparable," Han Baiying remained confident in Jia Xingliang.
Liu Toukang was feeling uneasy; after all, he had committed a guilty act. Especially with Jiang Chen's ruthless style—he treated human life as if it were nothing, killing at will. He feared that if the falsified accounts were exposed, Jiang Chen would not hesitate to take action against them. With Jiang Chen's strength, it would be a piece of cake to eliminate ordinary people like them.
