The night was as dark as ink, heavy and oppressive, as if it sought to swallow the world whole. Liang Tian led a team of elite warriors, moving through the mountains and forests like phantoms. Among them were top experts selected from the Hidden Sect, their skills formidable, their presence subdued yet exuding an overwhelming sense of pressure. Alongside them were Jianghu Heroes carefully chosen by Xiao Zhan; though they lacked the profound cultivation of the Hidden Sect's masters, each was agile and seasoned from their experiences in the martial world.
Liang Tian's expression was stern as he fixed his gaze ahead. Their target was a crucial communication outpost of the Dark Organization. This outpost was responsible for relaying messages between the Dark Organization and various colluding forces, playing a vital role in the operations of the Dark Alliance. If they could successfully destroy this outpost, it would undoubtedly disrupt the plans of the Dark Alliance.
At last, they arrived near the outpost. Liang Tian signaled for everyone to halt and made several hand gestures. The team immediately understood and silently spread out, surrounding the outpost from all directions.
With a command from Liang Tian, they surged forward like tigers descending from a mountain, launching their surprise attack under the cover of darkness. Inside the Dark Organization's outpost, the guards were complacent and completely unprepared for an enemy assault, caught off guard by the sudden onslaught.
Liang Tian led the charge like a streak of black lightning into the outpost. He swiftly formed hand seals and chanted incantations, unleashing a powerful spell. Beams of light shot from his hands, striking with pinpoint accuracy at the defensive structures within the outpost. In an instant, what had been a sturdy defensive array flickered with light before collapsing with a series of crackling sounds.
"Kill!" Xiao Zhan roared, brandishing his long knife as he and the Jianghu Heroes engaged in close combat with members of the Dark Organization. As he swung his blade, glints of cold light flashed, blood splattered, and cries of agony erupted from the Dark Organization's ranks. The Jianghu Heroes showcased their skills as fists and blades rained down upon their foes.
The experts from the Hidden Sect unleashed dazzling spells in midair. Practitioners from Lingxiao Sect conjured golden runes with their spiritual energy, raining down like meteors upon members of the Dark Organization; while Sword Cultivators from Wan Jian Sect wielded sword energy that slashed through the air like dragons weaving among enemies, leaving fallen foes in their wake.
Liang Tian darted through the crowd, his figure swift as a ghost. Each strike he delivered was accompanied by cries of pain from Dark Organization members. A surge of anger boiled within him; he loathed everything about the Dark Organization, and this was his moment to unleash that fury.
A Little Boss from the Dark Organization noticed him and approached with several subordinates in tow. Brandishing a black wolf-toothed club, he sneered menacingly, "You dare to cause trouble here? Today is your death day!" With that, he swung his club viciously toward Liang Tian.
Liang Tian's lips curled into a slight smirk of disdain. He did not dodge; just as the club was about to strike his head, he suddenly vanished and reappeared behind the Little Boss like a wraith. Before the Little Boss could react, Liang Tian gathered his spiritual energy and struck him forcefully on the back. The Little Boss felt an overwhelming power surge through him as if his insides were about to shatter; he coughed up blood and flew forward, crashing heavily to the ground.
The other subordinates turned pale at this sight and attempted to flee in panic. But Liang Tian would not let them escape easily; with a flick of his hand, several beams of spiritual energy shot forth, instantly piercing through their bodies before they could even scream, collapsing lifelessly onto the ground.
The sounds of battle cries and screams intertwined within the outpost. Although members of the Dark Organization fought back desperately, they gradually fell into disadvantage under Liang Tian's surprise attack. However, Liang Tian knew well that the Dark Organization would not be defeated so easily; they needed to end this quickly before reinforcements arrived to support them…
