If it were just some insults, he could have tolerated it; after all, his wife had hit someone without reason. Even if that person wanted to retaliate and beat him up a bit, he could endure it. But making jokes about his wife? That was something he had to defend.
Noticing that he had forgotten to offer the big guy a cigarette, he quickly handed one over to shut him up. By the time they finished eating, it was getting late. They needed to prepare some supplies at the shop before heading out from Anhe Town when night had already fallen.
After driving over a hundred kilometers down the road near the fishing spot, they spotted a car parked there—someone was night fishing!
