Shi Tian realized that Pingtou Ge was not playing the game that Kang Ziyu had in mind. After finishing their meal, he witnessed Pingtou Ge's tricks firsthand. Despite being a small boat, it was incredibly fast. With a few people on board, they sped out to sea, making a quick circle around Diaoyu Island.
Yesterday, they had placed several signs on Diaoyu Island. The plan was simple: once they reached the island, they would grab the signs and return, creating a thrilling experience on the water! Having played with fast cars before, it felt like they were now racing speedboats. Fortunately, Pingtou Ge was just leading them into a trap; the Fishing Boat could still satisfy their needs. Once they were caught in the trap, this group would likely spend lavishly.
Pingtou Ge certainly knew how to play the game. Once they were hooked, there was no escaping him. Even if they bought their own boats, they would still need to purchase engines from Pingtou Ge! Each Fishing Boat had two engines; selling just the engines would be far more profitable than selling the boats themselves!
After dropping off Kang Ziyu and the others, Shi Tian followed Shi Ye to the New Shipyard. The introduction of Carbon Fiber and Ceramic Bearings disrupted Shi Ye's plans. Previously, they had been involved in minor dealings and exporting labels, but now Shi Ye intended to accelerate his pace. To him, the Shipyard was not as crucial; what truly mattered were items like Carbon Fiber and Ceramic Bearings—real technological assets.
If he could acquire three to five key items, it would lay the foundation for a powerful family business. Although ancient families still existed today, they operated discreetly—so discreetly that most people were unaware of them. Since the rise of the five surnames and seven clans a thousand years ago, no one had been ostentatious anymore.
The Shipyard remained in Weihai and was significantly larger than the one Old Lu had given him. The small 5,000-square-meter Workshop at the front was designated for producing small boats, while a large 20,000-square-meter Workshop at the back was specifically reserved for Shi Tian. The small Workshop had been relocated and temporarily set up in a corner of the factory to stockpile goods. Old Kong's activities in Europe were nearing completion; he would soon be wrapping things up and had already placed orders for several Yuan Zhuang Boxes.
Once they stocked up on goods and sent out Old Kong's orders, Rogue Software could be upgraded again. This Workshop had been renovated according to Rogue Software's upgrade standards; if it weren't for the move to the new Shipyard, it could have been upgraded days ago.
After finishing everything, Shi Tian locked up the Workshop and clicked on the upgrade button before turning to find Shi Ye so they could head back to Sanya together.
"Ye Ge," he said as they landed in Sanya. "Old Kong told me that Wild Boar Island has been secured. He asked what I wanted to build there."
Shi Tian wasn't quite sure what to do with Wild Boar Island; he knew it wasn't suitable for building a Workshop since there were no production conditions available.
"What are your thoughts?" Shi Ye asked from the passenger seat without revealing his own ideas but instead probing Shi Tian's perspective.
"Build a Workshop! Set up a branch factory so that once we close down operations here, all export products can be produced from this location!" Although this wasn't his true intention, seeing Shi Ye's sly grin made him suspect that he might be scheming something.
Upon hearing Shi Tian's suggestion, Shi Ye's face darkened! He had initially planned to gradually let Shi Tian take over some industries, but with such thinking, wouldn't he just squander their family's wealth?
Building a factory requires shipping materials, right? And the products need to be shipped out as well. What about the workers? Are they going to be transported by boat every day?
Hainan is so vast; where exactly will the factory be built? Does it have to be on an island? That land can only be used for tourism; don’t even think about anything else. Even if a factory is built, there will surely be local objections, even with military pressure. Do you want to become Zhao Ruilong?
