After a few casts, there was no movement by the shore, so I decided to throw the line further in. I leaned slightly and gave it a strong flick. It had been a while since I used the Water Drop Reel, and my hand felt a slight backlash. It wasn't too severe, so I pulled out a few meters of line and reeled it back in.
I switched to the Tractor, which made a bigger splash and should have a better effect. With forty meters of line out, I released the line switch. After winding in a few loops, the Tractor started up.
But after just ten meters, the Tractor ran into trouble; it got stuck in the fish's mouth and wouldn't budge no matter how hard I tried to pull it out! I pressed down on the Rod and exerted force, causing a white shadow to leap out of the water. It was a large Bigeye Mullet.
Though the fish wasn't worth much and wasn't edible, I felt a sense of accomplishment! Amidst cheers from across the way, the Bigeye Mullet performed acrobatic flips in mid-air but couldn't spit out the Tractor. It had also gotten hooked again, making it even harder to free!
After several leaps, its struggle ceased; the Bigeye Mullet seemed to accept its fate. I reeled it in, used the Control Fish Tool to grip it, and with the Lure Pliers, removed the hook. I casually tossed it back into Hai Li.
I hung the Control Fish Tool and pliers on my waist and changed direction for another cast, hoping not to catch another Bigeye Mullet. After casting several times without any bites, Old Zhang showed up.
"Uncle Zhang, what brings you here? Got time to fish? Aunt Zhang not at home?" I joked as he chased me a few steps before giving me a symbolic kick.
He handed me a cigarette as he dragged Shi Tian back to the fishing spot. This place was close for him, allowing us to chat while fishing.
"Shui Bi Zhang and his crew have been at Ganjiang for almost half a month without returning. Is there really that many Huchen in Ganjiang?"
"What kind of potion did you give Aunt Zhang? How dare you think about fishing at Ganjiang? Can you even make it there?"
The stretch of Nanchang alone is over a kilometer long, not to mention several tributaries adding up to several kilometers.

With determination in his voice, Old Zhang seemed set on going for Ganjiang. "Float fishing should work; temperatures have risen there recently. Fishing between two meters would be ideal."
"If that's your plan, it's best to bring an Iso Rod; using an Iso Rod is much more convenient than using a Hand Rod."
Shi Tian had never fished for Huchen, but he had studied their habits. Coupled with the animated demonstrations shared by the old man and his friends, it was clear that using an Iso Rod with a Lure Dace was much more convenient than using a Hand Rod.
As for Wo Liao? I could grab another Rod, but you’d have to sponsor me three packs! Having clarified the fishing method, Old Zhang began to set his sights on Wo Liao.
Don't involve me in this; you need to call my dad. All the Bait was sent to him, just shipped out, and he’s in Ganjiang right now. After replying to Old Zhang, Shi Tian slowly reeled in the line. He had just felt a bite and needed to concentrate.
