No one noticed that this fish was left unharmed. If someone had, it would have been best to release it quickly; otherwise, someone might get envious and a single phone call could keep you busy for half the day.
The current of Ganjiang was swift, making it impossible to use the Lure Rod below. As soon as it hit the net, part of its body remained outside. With a quick scoop from both hands, they brought it ashore where it could thrash about freely—regretting its decision to swallow Xiao Yu!
"This fish is over thirty pounds! Take your rod back to the car first; I’ll bring this one over to Dog Brother!" Calmly instructed Da Gui Wang as he unhooked it and urged him to hurry with both rods.
By now, Da Gui Wang had likely stowed his rods in the car. Calmly then carried the net towards Wang Ergou.
Unfortunately, at this time of day there weren’t many people by the river; otherwise, they could have taken breaks along the way! Climbing up from the riverbank and glancing around revealed no signs of life—he could only proceed quietly on his own!
