Seeing Jian Qiang Ge's unwavering determination, Shi Tian decided to be generous. He cast two Carp Baits and, after a moment's thought, generously added a handful of Grass Carp Bait.
Despite the Da Mao River being a freshwater river, it was home to quite a few sea fish. Many sea fish passed by Shi Tian's shop, briefly lingered, and then swam back into the Da Mao River. In fact, some people had even caught Bigeye Mullets in the river.
In recent years, the management of the Da Mao River had been commendable; the water was clear and the fish were plentiful. Within its twenty to thirty miles stretch, there were still plenty of big fish hiding!
"Jian Qiang Ge, your hook is too small. Let me get you a larger one." After finishing his baiting, Shi Tian spoke up and turned back to rummage through his Fishing Box to upgrade Jian Qiang Ge's gear.
The line needed changing too; it was too thin. At the very least, he should use a proper Line Setup! Shi Tian reminded him, and Jian Qiang Ge immediately began to retract his Rod in sections, opening his own Fishing Box to search for a suitable Line Setup, preparing for a serious fishing session.
Hearing that Jian Qiang Ge wanted to change lines, Shi Tian quickly took out a set of quality Line Setup and took Jian Qiang Ge's Rod from him, effortlessly swapping it out.
"This one is from Xing Brand; it's sturdy. I just hope your Reinforced Steel can handle it!" As Shi Tian pulled out sections of the Rod for Jian Qiang Ge, he glanced at the Reinforced Steel in his hand. The Rod's hardness was impressive; it should hold up well in the Da Mao River!
He placed a small handful of Carp Pellets tied with rubber bands onto Jian Qiang Ge's Fishing Box and casually hooked two onto the line before handing the Rod back to him. "Now it's your turn to perform!"
After helping out, Shi Tian returned to his own Fishing Spot. Watching as his Float disappeared without a trace, he lifted his Rod only to find an empty hook—another opportunity wasted.
Switching to Plastic Particles, he continued casting while occasionally glancing at Jian Qiang Ge. Shi Tian was curious about how Jian Qiang Ge would manage if he hooked a big fish.
With the previous Carbon Fiber distribution ratio in mind, negotiations regarding the Ceramic Bearing collaboration had gone exceptionally smoothly. The specific investment figures were yet to be finalized, but the investment ratios and share distributions had all been agreed upon.
The only difference this time was that it wasn't Li Yunfei representing them; Old Lu was personally handling it. However, shares remained under Lu Ya's name—Shi Ye didn't need to insist on this point as Old Lu showed no objections.
Under Old Lu's name, Lu Ying Er had inheritance rights. If it fell under Lu Ya's name, it would all belong to the Lu Family. Unless Old Lu was foolish, he certainly wouldn't insist otherwise.
Shi Ye understood this well but didn't care much for those shares. He held five shares with Shi Tian while Shi Tian stayed out of these matters; thus, all decision-making power rested in his hands.
"What happened to Xiao Tian?" After concluding their discussions, Old Kong stretched his back and casually asked.
Now they were just waiting for the investment calculations so that several parties could start putting money into action. The calculations were quite extensive and would likely take another couple of days.
"He's fishing in the Da Mao River! When he came back at noon, he bragged about spending the whole morning fishing with a disabled Fishing Buddy and even enthusiastically helped him set up some bait!"
As soon as Shi Ye spoke up, Old Wen spat out his tea in surprise; fortunately, he reacted quickly enough that it splattered onto the nearby sofa instead of anyone else.
Xiao Tian really knew how to have fun! Thankfully he didn’t give away any Carp Bait! Wiping his mouth, Old Wen shook his head with a sigh. "Shi Tian really knows how to play!"
"You’re not short on Wo Liao either; wouldn’t it have been better to toss down a couple of Crucian Carp Baits for them? The fish aren’t big but still fun to catch! A few catches would be great for topping off!"
Old Wen’s words left everyone present momentarily stunned as they exchanged glances. It seemed like Shi Tian could indeed pull something like that off!
"Shall we go take a look together?" Old Liu said, and the others immediately got up, opened the Fishing Box to check for Carp Bait, gathered their gear, and quickly made their way downstairs to hop into the car, hurrying towards Da Mao River.
Fishing from a wheelchair was certainly not an option for someone injured. Since that was the case, catching a couple of Carp would surely help with recovery!
Upon finding Shi Tian, they happened to see him reeling in a Little Carp weighing about half a pound.
