After finishing the call, Yi Laotou emerged from the bathroom.
"Shi Laodi, you all enjoy yourselves; I’ll head back first!" He casually remarked as he strolled over to Shi Chui.
"Going back? There are rooms on the third floor; you can stay next to Xiao Tian!" Shi Chui quickly interjected upon hearing that Yi Laotou wanted to leave.
Tonight, Yi Laotou was in a good mood and had a few drinks; with Old Kong and the others absent, Shi Chui was concerned about letting him go back alone.
Hearing that Yi Laotou was leaving, Shi Tian also approached.
"What time is it? It’s not even eight yet, and you want to leave so early?"
"Master, where are you going? I just had someone tidy up the room next door; since you’ve had a drink tonight, you should stay here!"
These old men may have their quirks, but their lives were quite regular. They went to bed at ten and got up at five, making sure to fish for Zao Kou before breakfast.
"It’s time; the shrimp need feeding, and I still have to record the data!" With that, Yi Laotou turned and walked out.
"Feeding shrimp? Do you really need to be so scientific about it? Aren’t you afraid of overfeeding them so they become too big for Shi Ban to eat later?"
Yi Laotou insisted on leaving, so Shi Tian could only follow him back.
Once they returned to Yi Laotou's base, he was determined to feed the shrimp, so Shi Tian decided to help carry some feed.
However, as soon as he stood by the pond, Shi Tian suddenly remembered that Yi Laotou didn’t need to feed them manually! There was an automatic feeder here! As long as he poured the feed in, the machine would take care of it at the scheduled time.
"Alright, you can go back now; I’ll wash up and head to bed! At my age, I can’t stay up late anymore! Once I’m full, I get sleepy!" After taking a stroll around the pond, Yi Laotou went inside and immediately began ushering Shi Tian out.
Hearing this, Shi Tian frowned. "You don’t look sleepy at all!"
"Master, who called you earlier?" He squeezed into the room and sat down at the tea table to boil a kettle of spring water.
"It’s not suitable to drink tea at night," according to Yi Laotou's theory. "Daytime is yang; nighttime is yin. Tea belongs to wood and generates vitality; it’s best enjoyed during the day."
Instead of tea, he boiled a kettle of plain water for Yi Laotou. A cup before bed would help suppress the effects of alcohol too.
Looking at the time, Yi Laotou ignored Shi Tian's question and plopped down on the sofa. "Xiao Tian, how many shrimp did you secretly catch this afternoon?"
As soon as Yi Laotou spoke up, Shi Tian quickly stood up.
"Master, you should rest early. Ye Ge mentioned he still has something to discuss with me; I’ll head over first!"
With that said, he opened the door and dashed out before Yi Laotou could respond!
Was this going to be a reckoning later? You all tricked Kang Ziyu into stealing my shrimp cleanly; did I say a word about it? Just two little ones and you’re keeping tabs on me!
Watching Shi Tian flee in a panic, Yi Laotou smirked and quickly pulled out his phone to send a location to Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell. He then got up to catch two pounds of Live Shrimp from the pond, thinking he could use them to fish for Shi Ban when Tuna wasn't biting.
He grabbed his Iso Rod and stood at the door waiting for Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell to pick him up. Why was this kid so slow? It had been ages, and he still hadn’t arrived!
After about ten minutes of Yi Laotou’s urging, Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell and Sun Lang finally showed up. As soon as the car door opened, Yi Laotou jumped in and they headed straight for the shop.
“What do we need for Sea Fishing? You have a Rod, right? I don’t have a Boat Rod,” Yi Laotou asked as the car started moving.
“I’ve prepared everything for you; you just need to wait until tomorrow to board the boat! You should rest tonight. I’ll wake you up after I make breakfast in the morning. We’ll be out all day, so if you don’t rest, you might get seasick,” Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell replied.
To take Yi Laotou out for Sea Fishing, it seemed like he wouldn’t have time to sleep tonight. Although there was no need for supplies for Cong Jiang Qu Xing, they still had to clean up and organize things.
When they arrived at the shop, Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell’s small boat was already waiting. The three of them boarded the boat and headed across.
“The weather is nice tonight! Why don’t we set off now?” Yi Laotou said, staring at Cong Jiang Qu Xing as the small boat approached the shore.
“Master, not everyone is here yet, and we still need to gather some supplies on the boat,” Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell replied with a hint of frustration. This time at sea, he couldn’t let Yi Laotou catch too many fish; otherwise, he would be in trouble later!
Now he finally understood that Shi Tian’s restrictions weren’t meant to limit him but rather to protect him!
Not allowing them to set off early, Yi Laotou feared that Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell would sneak away without him. He used the excuse of wanting to familiarize himself with the boat environment, insisting on staying on board tonight. However, this idea was ruthlessly rejected by Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell.
“What about my Rod? You prepared it, right? Hand it over! I want to get familiar with it!”
After being denied again by Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell, Yi Laotou could only satisfy himself by feeling the Rod for now.
Finally making a reasonable request, Sun Lang handed over a Sample Rod from the shop to Yi Laotou. “Old man, you’ll use this Rod tomorrow. Let’s head back to the room; I’ll teach you how to use the Electric Reel.”
After sending Yi Laotou back to his room, Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell was already sweating profusely; he had gotten himself into big trouble.
A night of drinking stretched late into the night, and they all stumbled back home. When they finally woke up, it was nearly noon, and they were roused by Shui Bi Zhang's phone call.
“What’s up, Shui Ge?” Shi Tian answered while rubbing his head.
