"Boss, I need some funds for the project!" Shui Bi Zhang, reeking of alcohol, slammed four order forms onto Shui Laoban's desk in the office.
After glancing at the orders and then at Shui Bi Zhang's expense report, Shui Laoban stood up and pushed Shui Bi Zhang onto the sofa, personally pouring him a cup of tea. The treatment made it seem as if Shui Bi Zhang had become the boss!
With four orders in hand, along with the previous one, Shui Laoban wouldn't have to worry about orders for over half a year.
Holding Shui Bi Zhang's application form, he called his secretary in to prepare a new one. Shui Bi Zhang had applied for a set of Boat Rods, each costing one hundred thousand, totaling seven hundred thousand. There was a bit of padding in this request, as Shui Bi Zhang himself admitted.
This extra padding wouldn't end up in Shui Bi Zhang's pocket; he was a principled man. After purchasing the rods, he would also need to bring along a few crew members for the sea trip! A single outing would quickly consume that amount of money.
Once they returned to shore, they would be heading home for the New Year. After spending so much time with him, they couldn't let him return empty-handed! A few gifts would be necessary; there wouldn’t be much money left after that.
Shui Bi Zhang had signed orders that accounted for over half a year's business volume for the company; Shui Laoban had to show some appreciation! He decided to get a set of rods for Shui Bi Zhang as well, which would not count against the year-end bonus or performance rewards.
Having worked hard all year himself, it seemed only fair that he rewarded himself with a set too! That made it seven sets total, giving Shui Bi Zhang more operational flexibility.
"When are you going to bless the rods? Why not take me along too? I can find someone to rent a boat!" After handing Shui Bi Zhang a cigarette, Shui Laoban humbly requested.
Shui Bi Zhang's single order had kept him from fishing for over ten days. Now that production was back on track and running at full capacity, he could finally squeeze out some time!
Yesterday, when Shui Bi Zhang's team delivered that Dajinqiang fish, it made him crave fishing even more. He had caught big fish before but never anything like Mahi Mahi. He wanted to fish in deep waters, but due to seasickness, Shui Bi Zhang might not be willing to take him!
Upon hearing that Shui Laoban was willing to pay for boat rental, Shui Bi Zhang's eyes lit up. If they could save that money, he could train a few fishing enthusiasts to take out on the sea and aim to secure all of next year's production orders for Shui Laoban.
With more orders coming in, there was no way Shui Laoban wouldn’t expand production! He needed to keep an eye on the expansion process so that he could fish on company funds for an entire year!
Renting a boat was simple enough; finding a good captain was the challenge. Last night at dinner with Shi Tian and others, he specifically asked about it. Every time Mini Air Force and Cong Jiang Xing went out, they managed to catch Tuna—why was that?
On Mini Air Force, Shi Tian knew how to find fish; Oka occasionally went out on the boat too and also knew where to look. Similarly, on Cong Jiang Xing, Scallion Ginger Fishy would find fish as well. Therefore, they always managed to catch Tuna when they went out!
Previously, when they rented a boat and spent days at sea without catching even one Tuna, they had no choice but to ask Shi Tian to take them out!
After finishing his thought, Shui Bi Zhang turned to stare at Shui Laoban. The implication was clear: you can rent the boat, but can you find a captain who knows how to catch fish?
Shi Tian and Mini Air Force were not available for hire! What should they do? They could spend more money renting Cong Jiang Xing!
However, Cong Jiang Xing didn’t rent out its services and wouldn’t accept small orders either. Previously, when Cong Jiang Xing took those Old Bosses out fishing a few times, it was under the condition that their company hosted everything at Congjiangxing Resort!
It was all about fishing! "I'll pay; you put in the effort. We have to catch some fish before New Year!" After spending half a year fishing together, it was only natural that Shui Laoban understood what Shui Bi Zhang meant.
"Alright then! I’ll talk to Scallion Ginger Fishy and Oka later!" Scallion Ginger Fishy hadn’t been out at sea in a while; during their last two outings, he had asked Oka to take people out on his boat!
He had discussed this with Oka while drinking yesterday—whenever they went out for Sea Fishing next time, he’d invite Oka along as well! Oka had agreed too.
So, the reason for Scallion Ginger Fishy is that Scallion Ginger Fishy is a friend of Oka and also the senior brother of Shi Tian. If Shui Laoban's company also hosts events at Congjiangxing Resort, it will be much easier to think of Sea Fishing fish in the future!
Regarding Pingtou Ge, Shui Bi Zhang did not mention anything to Shui Laoban. That guy is too easily bought! According to Mr. Man Cang, two bottles of Moutai could settle things. If Shui Laoban finds this loophole, it could lead to trouble!
Speaking of Mr. Man Cang, he set off again. After two successful fishing trips, the boat rental was naturally in high demand. Passing messages wasn't easy; Pingtou Ge was supposed to provide a hush money. Snacks and cigarettes were standard supplies, and occasionally he could even score a drink from a small boat belonging to Pingtou Ge.
Hearing someone call for him again left Pingtou Ge puzzled. Shi Tian had just returned yesterday; there was no way someone would send him something right now!
"This is Kong Ping, go ahead, Man Cang Hao!” He picked up the intercom and looked outside. Wasn't that the boat that followed behind Shi Tian yesterday? Could it really be that Shi Tian sent someone to bring him something?
"Pingtou Ge, it's me, Man Cang! I brought you something; do you have time to come down and pick it up?" Having met Pingtou Ge before when he came with Wang Ergou, he felt familiar enough.
"What is it? Who sent you?" If there were people he knew on board, it wouldn't make sense for Man Cang to call him directly. Could it really be that either Shi Tian or someone else he knew sent him something?

"Thanks, but I'm on duty today and don't have time to come down!" After hanging up the radio, Pingtou Ge's face darkened. Did he really think he needed those two bottles? Even if he wanted to drink, it wasn’t just any liquor he would accept!
