In the evening of the next day, Shi Tian drove Dai Yue Ye directly to the airport to pick up Bird Brother. After greeting each other, they headed to Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell resort for a sumptuous meal to welcome the two of them.
After some introductions and a toast, Bird Brother turned to Shi Tian and said, "Aren't you planning to open an online store selling Fishing Gear? Old Lin here is a seasoned Fisherman I trained myself; he can help you set it up."
Upon hearing Bird Brother's introduction, Shi Tian's eyes lit up. A Fisherman! The Northwest isn't suitable for fishing this season, so they might as well stay in Sanya until spring blossoms!
"Brother Lin likes fishing? That's fantastic! Have you ever gone Sea Fishing? How about we take a trip out to sea tomorrow and catch some Tuna?" As soon as Shi Tian said this, Bird Brother's eyelids twitched. If Shi Tian took Old Lin out for fun, would he still be able to manage things?
Hearing about Tuna fishing piqued Brother Lin's interest. "Last time I went Sea Fishing in Fujian, I spent three days on the boat without catching anything! How about we get the online store up and running first? Once it's on track, we can go out to sea."
Although he was eager to hit the water as soon as possible, he hadn't forgotten his responsibilities; he was there to help Shi Tian with the store.
The online store wasn't urgent; they still needed office equipment and customer service staff, which would take another day or two. "Let's go fishing tomorrow, and once everything is set up, we'll head out!"
Old Lin chimed in, "You guys didn't bring any Rods this time, did you? How about we have Xiao Tian prepare some Fishing Gear for you tomorrow? We can take both boats out to sea the day after!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell turned to Shi Tian and said, "Pingtou Ge will come by tomorrow; he's heading back to the platform the day after. He just called me and suggested we all gather here tomorrow night!"
"Pingtou Ge is going back to the platform? Does that mean he has fish to deliver? That sounds promising!" Last time at the platform, he felt like he missed out on so many fish by not seeing Pingtou Ge.
"Ah! Perfect! I'll prepare a set of Boat Rods for Brother Lin tomorrow!" After saying this, Shi Tian turned to Old Lin and asked, "Brother Lin, do you prefer using Shaking or Electric Reel? If we're going for Tuna, I'll get you an Electric Reel; using Shaking can be too tiring!"
Old Lin was a seasoned Sea Fisherman. Judging by his words, he had only been out once before; it was better to ask him first!
"No, I want to use Shaking! I just want to experience the thrill of battling a big fish one-on-one. Using an Electric Reel wouldn't be fair!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Old Lin quickly added, "I know Boat Rods aren't cheap; there's no need for you to prepare one specifically for me. If you have an extra one lying around, I can borrow it. If not, I'll just go buy one tomorrow."
Shi Tian was selling Fishing Gear; there was no way he would let Old Lin buy his own Rod.
"Buy what? We have plenty at home; why waste money? Just leave the Rod situation to me. Don't worry; we’ll be ready to set off for fishing early the day after!"
Stopping Old Lin from saying more, Shi Tian turned to Bird Brother and asked, "Do you want to join us out at sea? You don’t need to fish with your impatient nature; I can teach you how to operate a boat!"
Shi Tian didn’t expect Bird Brother would actually go out with them. His goal was clear: he came to Sanya to save countless girls!
"I won’t go; I get seasick! You all have fun; I'm here on business and have things to do tomorrow!" As expected, compared to going out with a bunch of older guys, his mission was far more challenging.
"Then I'll leave the car with you! Having a car is more convenient!" Shi Tian tossed the car keys onto the table, noticing Bird Brother's lack of interest.
"It's inconvenient to have a car; you can't drink! With ride-hailing services being so convenient now, who still drives?" Bird Brother rolled his eyes and flatly refused.
Shi Tian's SUV was indeed quite flashy, but to him, it felt like a burden. Not driving meant he could come and go freely, whether it was to a bar or a street stall. Since he wasn't familiar with this area, taking a taxi was far easier than driving himself.
After indulging in food and drinks, he and the Northwest Man quickly finished their meal. When he finally woke up, the sun was already high in the sky.
After getting up and washing up, he stepped outside and greeted Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell. Upon inquiring, he learned that Bird Brother had vanished on some beach in Sanya, leaving no trace behind.
After breakfast, Shi Tian took Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell's small boat to drop Old Lin off at the shop, arranging for Coach Sun Lang to accompany him for fishing. Shi Tian truly didn't have time to fish; he needed to prepare for going out to sea tomorrow. He also had to take care of resupplying the boat, and Old Lin's rod still hadn't been settled, which required his attention as well.
Old Lin would eventually need to switch to an electric reel; Shi Tian had no doubt about that. He decided to equip him with a rod himself and grab a spinning reel from Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell for him to use in the meantime.
When Old Lin was ready to switch to an electric reel, it would be after the online store had opened. By then, depending on his capabilities, if he managed to run the shop successfully, Shi Tian wouldn't mind spending on an electric reel at all!
