As Yun Wan'er looked at the various fresh flowers that had just been delivered, she switched her phone to speaker mode, tucked it into her pocket, and turned to carry two pots of flowers with good appearances up to the second-floor terrace. Shi Tian was not surprised by Yun Wan'er’s attitude; knowing he had arrived put her at ease. As for how he got there, there were many ways—why did she need to personally go to the Yacht Dock to pick him up?
“A sailfish weighing over forty kilograms, aren’t you interested in trying it? If you’re not interested, I’ll just set up a stall at the Yacht Dock and sell it!” Shi Tian teased, rubbing his nose. It seemed that saving on transportation costs was going to be a bit difficult this time!
“Not interested! It’s not like I’ve never eaten it before; I haven’t even had tuna yet! Hurry home; lunch is on you today!” With that, Yun Wan'er hung up the phone and began arranging the two pots of flowers.
Hearing the busy tone on the line, Shi Tian was left dumbfounded. When had Yun Wan'er ever eaten sailfish? How come he didn’t know? They must have been sneaking food without him—this kind of thing surely happened often!
As he docked the boat at the Small Pier of the resort, Sister Thirty had already arranged for a car to wait there. Since Yun Wan'er had already eaten sailfish, there was no need to keep this fish weighing over forty kilograms; he would have it packed up and taken away!
With the big fish and those Huang Ji taken away, what about all the Xiao Yu left behind? He couldn’t possibly take them to Hongsha Wharf to sell, could he? That wouldn’t even cover fuel costs!
“I’m leaving! I’m going to set up a stall at the Yacht Dock to sell fish!” After dividing the money from Huang Ji, Shi Tian headed back onto the boat, planning to dock at the Yacht Dock.
For the time being, he didn’t intend to go out to sea again; he had a new goal. Docking at the Yacht Dock was much simpler than parking in the villa area. At least when a typhoon came, he wouldn’t have to worry about tying up the boat anymore!
Shi Tian’s announcement left several people stunned. What kind of joke was this? The management at the Yacht Dock was quite strict; how could they possibly allow him to set up a stall? And selling fish at that!
“You really plan to set up a stall?” Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell asked in disbelief as he turned to stare at Shi Tian.
“I checked last time; once you’re out of the Yacht Dock, they don’t care as long as city management doesn’t show up!” Shi Tian replied with a slight smile. “With so many fish caught from sea fishing, who would notice if I quietly took them away?”
Regardless of whether he could sell the fish or not, setting up a stall and displaying his catch was much more interesting than just getting a few likes on social media!
Shi Tian’s words lit up several faces; this idea seemed promising!
After unloading the fish, they decided to team up and head to Great Eastern Sea for their stall. There were more people there; carrying rods and buckets, even city management wouldn’t chase them away! With that said, Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell called for people to grab buckets while everyone climbed aboard the boat to start unloading fish!
This place wasn’t far from Great Eastern Sea. With ten people and three vehicles—each carrying three or four buckets—and everyone equipped with a rod, they headed wherever there were more people. They almost drove their cars right into Great Eastern Sea beach!
“Bro, where did you catch these fish? They’re huge!” Before Shi Tian could even shout out his catch, someone approached him with a cigarette in hand.
“Just came back from Nan You! I can’t eat all these fish; want one?” Shi Tian smiled slightly as he introduced himself while accepting the cigarette.
“You only caught this little bit from Nan You? That’s quite a loss!” Hearing this, Bro felt a bit sorry for Shi Tian’s cigarette. He initially wanted to ask about fishing spots but ended up learning that Shi Tian had gone to Nan You instead!
What fisherman wouldn’t want to go after big catches in Nan You? But with costs running into thousands and only managing a few decent catches over several days—it always felt like a loss!
“What do you mean by loss? Have you ever seen a sailfish weighing over forty kilograms? Here, let me show you a picture; it just got loaded onto my truck!” Shi Tian pulled out his phone and showed Bro a picture of the sailfish. Seeing Bro lean closer to his screen made him smile.
With a swipe of his finger across his phone screen, a picture of a yellowfin tuna weighing over seventy kilograms appeared.
“This one was caught yesterday afternoon—seventy kilograms! The pull was incredible; my reel almost smoked!” After chatting for a bit, Bro’s heart raced as he didn’t know where to put his hands.
This morning, I caught a bigger one, weighing eighty-seven pounds. It took nearly an hour to reel it in, and by the time I got it on board, my hands were numb!
After a few quick cuts, my friend quietly pulled out his phone and found his wife's number. Just as he was about to press dial, he paused and thought it over; it was better to ask a few more questions first. "Is there really that much Southern Oil Fish? Did you pull all these up with a jigging rod?" He gritted his teeth and shoved a pack of cigarettes into my hand, his eyes glued to the bucket of fish. His mind was already wandering off to the South Sea!
The smaller one was caught with a jigging rod; the rest were caught while releasing them back into the water! Stuffing the cigarettes back into his pocket, I spoke earnestly, "If you want to go fishing, you need to get past your wife first! Buy a fish to charm her; as long as she says she wants to eat it, you can set sail under the pretense of fishing for her! This Black Sea Bass is pretty good—just over two pounds. How about three bucks for it?"
