At the Scallion Ginger Fishy resort, the group of beautiful women disembarked and immediately lounged around. It was only natural, given that they were the ones spending money. However, Scallion Ginger Fishy found himself in a bit of a bind.
The day before, a group had gone fishing at the reservoir and returned with a bountiful catch. Zhang Junming had treated everyone to a gathering at his place that night, where they drank to excess. Now, just after returning from the sea, another group had arrived, this time with Niu Zong picking up the tab. The same familiar faces were present, except for Chao Fen Ge, who had already gone home. In this situation, it would seem insufficient for Scallion Ginger Fishy not to personally whip up a couple of dishes!
“Cong Ge, did you all go out to sea?” After a round of drinks, Lobster turned to Scallion Ginger Fishy and asked.
Yesterday, Scallion Ginger Fishy had mentioned that he would be taking a group of guests out to sea. Lobster’s question was merely an icebreaker to discuss their outing and to tease Zhang Junming and Niu Zong about their fishing experiences.
Scallion Ginger Fishy understood this well enough; after all, they had all been out to sea together before. It was just a matter of saying a few words to keep the conversation flowing!
They had spent the day fishing and halfway through encountered Xiao Tian with his parents also out at sea, so they all enjoyed the day together!
Pausing for a moment, Scallion Ginger Fishy took a sip of his drink and continued, “Xiao Tian really lucked out; he caught a big Su Mei Fish weighing around seven or eight pounds! Unfortunately, he didn’t get a chance to take a picture before his mother released it back into the water! He was so anxious he kept slapping his thigh!”
With that bait thrown out, it was now up to Lobster and Wang Ergou to take over the conversation.
“Su Mei Fish? Seven or eight pounds? Wow! That’s one of the Four Great Fish Kings! If he had gotten a picture of that, he could brag about it for months!” Wang Ergou chimed in enthusiastically.
“Not quite. Last time Xiao Tian went out with Nan You, he caught a yellowfin tuna over one hundred thirty pounds! That fish alone is enough for him to boast about for the year; seven or eight pounds of Su Mei is just icing on the cake!”
Wang Ergou transitioned smoothly into another topic as Lobster quickly steered the conversation toward Nan You.
“Next Monday, Nan You has an open spot on his boat. Are you interested? This kid just got into fishing; he has that Newbie Aura going for him. Fishing with him could lead to some big catches!” Scallion Ginger Fishy remarked, noticing Niu Zong’s eyelids twitch as he glanced at Zhang Junming.
Zhang Junming was also new to fishing; surely he must have some Newbie Aura too! Otherwise, he wouldn’t have caught so many fish yesterday!
Could those who followed someone with Newbie Aura still benefit? Listening to them recount their last fishing trip’s successes made Niu Zong secretly resolve to drag Zhang Junming out to sea and make sure his Newbie Aura got used up!
The next morning, Lobster found himself reluctantly dragged along by Zhang Junming and Niu Zong as they discussed details about deep-sea fishing. Then came equipment shopping and finally negotiating with Scallion Ginger Fishy about renting a boat.
After a day of running around, Shi Tian’s list of participants shrank by one; Scallion Ginger Fishy had defected to take Zhang Junming and Niu Zong out to sea. Now there were only three people left on his side!
Compared to those fishing boats at the dock, Scallion Ginger Fishy’s vessel was clearly in much better condition. He wouldn’t normally rent it out to just anyone; however, these two old bosses were different. They had established connections that could lead their clients directly to his resort—now that would be profitable!
Three people going out to sea felt somewhat extravagant. Bringing Shi Chui along? Shi Tian wasn’t interested; he hadn’t even mastered Taiwanese fishing yet and certainly didn’t want to spend several days at sea—what if he got seasick?
Since there was an open spot available, why not summon some friends from the group chat? Those guys from Da Gui Pai must be bored! They had given him so many fishing spots; inviting them out for a fun trip would make it easier for him later when asking about suitable places for bait contests!
As soon as Wang Ergou mentioned being on board, Calmly immediately perked up and personally called Da Hai and Da Gui Wang, vowing not to let Wang Ergou overshadow him!
Then the three of them conferred: those who needed time off should ask for it; those who needed to smooth things over with their wives should do so. With some financial maneuvering under way, within just a few hours, Shi Tian’s boat gained three more spots!
"Xiao Tian, are you going sea fishing tomorrow? Is there still room on the boat?" Shi Chui immediately blocked him at the door after finishing the Bait Contest on Sunday.
Last time they went sea fishing, Shi Chui's craving for fishing had significantly intensified. Just catching one fish was over four pounds, something he never even dreamed of before!
"Lao Shi! There really isn't any space left on the boat! Besides, this time it's Nan You, and it's for several days. Can Old Yun let you go?"
Patting Shi Chui on the shoulder, Shi Tian leaned closer to his ear. "There's a small gate at the northeast corner of the villa area. After you go out, follow the bluestone path up the hill, and at the end is Ye Ge's private Ren Lake. It's full of big fish!"

As he spoke, Shi Tian went to the basement to grab a set of camping gear and handed it to Lao Shi right in front of Yun Wan'er. After that, Lao Shi never had another chance to join him for sea fishing!
If it weren't getting late, Yun Wan'er would probably drag Shi Chui up the mountain directly!
Yun Wan'er took Shi Chui back to their room to discuss tomorrow's camping plan while Shi Tian loaded a truck full of Wo Liao and fishing rods to deliver to the store. He would be gone for a whole week, and it was essential to stock up on supplies!
For everyone participating in the Bait Contest these past few days, each person received a pack of Wo Liao to let them experience its magic. Starting next week, without Shi Tian reminding them, they would surely be eager for him to hold another Bait Contest.
However, he couldn't give out too much; once they tasted the sweetness, starting next week, Wo Liao would have to be reduced. Either only those who placed would receive Wo Liao or just the top ten would get it; this way, Wo Liao would become more valuable!
In the future, they would rely on Wo Liao to maintain the Bait Contest; otherwise, it wouldn't last long before it fizzled out!
