Yun Wan'er was quite capable. In just one afternoon, not only had the second floor been completely transformed, but the first and third floors were tidied up as well, and even the yard had received some attention.
When they returned home, Yun Wan'er was busy in the backyard. She had pulled out a large pile of weeds and was shaping a few cucumber and tomato plants.
"I bought two insect lamps. Once they arrive, you can install them over the Fish Pond. This way, we won't need to feed the fish in the pond, and we can reduce the pesticide use for the strawberries significantly!" She glanced at Shi Tianyi, reminding him before continuing her work as a stylist for the plants.
Yun Wan'er was very patient with this task. As she shaped each plant, Shi Tian couldn't help but wonder if she could create a whole set of martial arts secrets from them.
However, Yun Wan'er was indeed impressive. By placing two Attracting Insects Lamps over the Small Artificial Lake, the number of pests would surely decrease significantly, saving a lot on pesticides!
The insects killed by the Attracting Insects Lamps would fall into the Artificial Lake, making the Azure Catfish inside quite happy. Every night they would feast on mosquitoes, and in just a few months, the lake would likely be overflowing with fish!
This Small Artificial Lake connected to the Large Artificial Lake in the Back Area. Once there were enough Azure Catfish in here, he could open the mesh at the outlet and let a few hundred swim into the Large Artificial Lake. Who knows? He might even get rich selling Azure Catfish in the future!
Shi Tian didn't plan to raise too many fish in this Small Artificial Lake either. He intended to let the Azure Catfish breed first. Once their numbers reached a certain density, he would catch ten or so koi to add to it; that way, it wouldn't be so monotonous.
After greeting Yun Wan'er, Shi Tian returned to the kitchen to start preparing dinner. He sliced up some sashimi and arranged it on ice in a plate to put in the refrigerator for now while he prepared a soup.
When he opened the small Fish Bucket in the kitchen, it was completely empty! Where was that big Wang Ba?
"Old Yun! Old Yun! The Wang Ba in the kitchen has disappeared! Have you seen it?" He called out to Yun Wan'er while searching around on the kitchen floor for any sign of Wang Ba. Not finding it, he hurriedly ran to the backyard and shouted towards her.
Calling out "Old Yun" in front of Yun Wan'er showed how anxious Shi Tian was. Just as he poked his head out, a clump of dirt hit him squarely on the head, turning him into Yun Mei Nu.
"Yun Mei Nu! The Wang Ba from that Fish Bucket in the kitchen is missing! It was caught from the reservoir this morning and was meant for you and Lao Shi's soup!" he reported quickly after rubbing his head.
That Wang Ba had been thrown into the Fish Bucket with its zipper closed; there was no way it could escape without help!
Since there was no one else at home except for Yun Wan'er, it was highly likely that she had moved it. If she didn't know where it went either, he would have to check the surveillance footage! Maybe that Wang Ba had turned into a spirit!
"Wang Ba? It was too cramped in that Fish Bucket. After a friendly negotiation, I put it in the Fish Pond!" Yun Wan'er replied nonchalantly as she watched Shi Tian jump around anxiously.
Hearing this made Shi Tian even more frantic!
Throwing a two-kilogram Wang Ba into its Fish Pond—would there be any hope left for the Azure Catfish inside? There were two hundred Xiao Yu being raised in that Fish Pond! If that big Wang Ba went in there, wouldn’t all those Xiao Yu become its food? Complaining under his breath, Shi Tian hurried back to grab his net, hoping that Wang Ba would show mercy and not prey on the Azure Catfish in the pond!
The Small Artificial Lake wasn't regular-shaped and had plenty of Water Hyacinth and aquatic plants inside. After searching around for a while without finding any trace of that big Wang Ba, Shi Tian had no choice but to wait quietly by the side for it to come up for air. This creature needed to surface every hour or so; with enough patience, he would eventually catch it!
"Are there fish in this Fish Pond? How come I didn’t notice? I was thinking about catching some koi from outside’s Artificial Lake another day!" Seeing Shi Tian with his net trying to catch Wang Ba made Yun Wan'er curiously approach him.
Beneath the water, there were over two hundred Azure Catfish! The fish were small, only two or three centimeters long. If that Wang Ba got hungry, it could easily devour them all in just a few days!
Pointing to a patch of water plants, I reminded Yun Wan'er that there was a little Azure Catfish swimming among the greenery. From above the water's surface, the scene looked quite lively!
Shi Tian went back to prepare dinner, and it was Yun Wan'er’s turn to be on duty. Such adorable little Azure Catfish would be a shame to end up in Wang Ba's mouth; it would ruin the beauty of the scene!
In the morning, I was called out of bed by Yun Wan'er.
"Don’t drink milk for breakfast; take some motion sickness medicine after eating!" Following Shi Tian's reminder, I hurriedly ate a few bites of breakfast. The Mini Air Force set sail under the rising sun, first purchasing several dozen pounds of Xiao Yu as dessert for the dolphins and also buying some ice to put into the Ice Chamber.
Buying Live Shrimp was Shi Chui's business. He couldn't go out to sea without fishing; if he didn't prepare some Live Shrimp, it would feel like a waste.
"Mini Air Force, this is Cong Jiang Xing. Please respond!" Less than half an hour after setting out, Shi Tian heard Scallion Ginger Fishy calling him over the radio.
Shi Tian knew that Scallion Ginger Fishy's video had attracted a group of beautiful women who said they would come to Sanya in a few days and wanted him to take them out to feed the dolphins. Unexpectedly, they encountered each other at sea.
