Shi Tian was chatting in the group, while next door, Kuno Ryuya and his crew of Lure Anglers were making quite a ruckus. 0

Da Gui Wang announced, "The Giant Blue has been spotted at Yi Tian Reservoir! Those who enjoy Taiwanese Fishing should take note; the news is out, and I expect a lot of people will show up!" 0

Dai Hai replied, "Giant Blue? What does that have to do with us Lure Anglers? It's not our specialty!" 0

"It's not that we can't catch Giant Blue," someone chimed in. "It's just that the Azure Catfish is a bottom feeder with a varied diet. Most of what it eats are river clams and Field Snails, so the chances of hooking one with Lure are pretty low." 0

Calmly added, "So it's a Taiwanese Fishing event? We can't miss out on that! Those folks often occupy the Fishing Spots overnight, and by dawn, they’ve already claimed several spots to fish with their Lures. We can’t be late to the party!" 0

After finishing his chat, Shi Tian began to consider what gear he would need for the day. Catching Azure Catfish was a big deal; he needed to use Chang Gan! He decided on an Eight Meters Giant Fish rod. 0

Should he get a custom rod? Actually, it wasn’t necessary since the custom Eight Meters rod he made for Shi Chui was still in Shi Chui's hands. Although it might not be good luck to borrow it for a day, Shi Chui probably wouldn’t mind too much. 0

But after thinking it over, he decided against it. Several people in the group were using rods from the shop; if he showed up with a Customized Rod and someone else got their hands on it, they might want him to make one for them too. It was better to stick with an Ordinary Rod! 0

As for lines, floats, weights, and hooks, there were plenty in his Fishing Box—no need to stock up on those! He needed a Net though; a regular Net would be too small for such big fish. He browsed through the Fishing Box menu for a while but felt uneasy as some unreliable items seemed to have slipped into the Rogue Software! 0

The Korean Style Landing Net had an impressive name but only cost one Point. Upon clicking it, he found it was just a flimsy stick about a foot long—more like a rolling pin than a net! How was that supposed to work? Would he really just knock the fish out with it? Wouldn’t it be better to scoop the fish up and put it in his Yu Hu where it could survive for a few hours? 0

Then there was the American Style Landing Net, supposedly designed for big fish. He wasn’t sure how effective it was, but using that thing to land fish might ruin his chances of catching anything again! 0

At least there wasn’t a Russian Landing Net; otherwise, one scoop would probably drain the reservoir! 0

He quickly closed the Net menu and decided to stick with the small Net for now. First things first—he needed to finish making the Fly Rod for today! 0

By 4:30 AM, he rushed to the shop and handed over the Fly Rod he had prepared last night to Sun Lang. "This is a Fly Rod; someone might come by at noon to pick it up. The rod costs five hundred, and the wheel is one hundred. The line is quite expensive—don’t just give it away because it looks nice; charge her four hundred for that." 0

He added, "The box of hooks is complimentary; don’t mistake them for Lure Hooks—they're specially made Fly Fishing Hooks. When Su Xueyi comes in later, you should mention this too! Offer her the hooks when she buys the rod!" 0

"And remember," he continued, "after she pays for the rod, you should try selling her some waders. Since we opened shop, we haven’t sold a single set; they just sit there and are quite disheartening." 0

Looking at the toy-like Fly Rod, Sun Lang blinked in disbelief. "You’re selling this whole bunch of toys for a thousand? Aren't you worried they’ll smash your store? How can you even use such thick line? Can you catch any fish with this?" 0

The Fly Line was thick, and once a fish was hooked, you could simply drag it in without worrying about the fishing line cutting your hands! In fact, the catch rate for Fly Fishing was quite high, reportedly even higher than that of Lure fishing. Shi Tian had never tried it, so he didn't know; if it were about catching a big one, he doubted it could compare to Taiwanese Fishing! Most likely, it couldn't. 0

Have you seen Cat and Mouse? The Tom Cat in that show uses Fly Fishing. If you don't understand, you can watch the cartoon and learn some professional knowledge! This is how Fly Fishing works; if the line is too thin, it just won't work! 0

Shi Tian shot a disdainful glance at Sun Lang. He had no intention of getting into a long discussion with him; it was his first time joining the group for a fishing trip, and he didn't want to be late! Last night, he had checked the location sent by Er Gou; Yi Tian Reservoir was quite far away—at least twenty or thirty kilometers. Driving there would take at least half an hour, which explained why everyone had arranged to meet so early! 0

Could the Fly Line curve when cast? Just as Shi Tian was about to step out of the shop, he noticed Sun Lang curiously staring at the Fly Rod on the counter. One of his comments nearly left Shi Tian speechless. 0

"If you could catch Jerry and use him as Fish Bait, it would definitely curve!" 0

In that bag was a spool of Bian Guang Xian, the dull gray one that cost a thousand. If no one asked about it, he wouldn't push it on them; that thing looked ugly and was ridiculously expensive—anyone with a normal brain wouldn't buy it! 0

Shi Tian regretted his impulsiveness from last night. Seeing how good that spool looked, he hadn't checked the price before making a purchase. Now that he had it in hand, it felt more like a buyer's remorse moment; holding that dull gray line made him think about returning it. 0

With such an unappealing spool, there was no way it could be given as a gift; otherwise, compared to that beautiful colorful line, people would just toss it in the trash as soon as they stepped outside! 0

After moving the goods he needed into the shop, Shi Tian ignored Sun Lang, who was still trying to figure out how to make the Fly Line curve. He headed north along An You Road and then onto the Huanghai Expressway, stepping on the gas towards Yalong Bay! 0

By the time they arrived at Yi Tian Reservoir, the others in the group had already set up their spots. However, upon seeing a row of Fishing Platforms in deep water, Shi Tian was somewhat dumbfounded! 0

He did have Fishing Platforms; he had taken some from Shi Ye's warehouse before. Although he thought they were useless, he figured since they were free, he might as well take a few more. So those Fishing Platforms had been moved from Shi Ye's warehouse to his own. 0

Without a Fishing Platform, there was no way to fish! Should he drive back to get one? By the time he went back and forth, dawn would break—would there still be a good spot available? 0

As Shi Tian approached, Er Gou passed by him carrying a bucket of Field Snails and said, "You’re here? I saved you a spot—the one on the left near the birch tip is good. It’s four meters in; the water is half a meter deep—perfect for setting up your Fishing Platform!" 0

Hearing this, Shi Tian shook his head decisively! 0

Four meters in with only half a meter of water? How could he use his Eight Meters Rod? It wouldn’t even reach the deeper areas! 0

"No way; I didn’t bring my Fishing Platform. I can’t fish here; I’ll just fish next to you!" He handed Er Gou a cigarette and asked while eyeing his bucket of Field Snails, "When did you guys come? How did you find so many Field Snails? Where did you get them? I want to grab some too; they’d be great stir-fried with some beer!" 0

Stir-Fried Snails paired with Iced Beer—just thinking about it felt delightful. 0

Unfortunately, ever since Shi Ye and the others left, he was the only resident left behind in that villa area—it felt too desolate. Even when wanting to drink, he couldn't find anyone to join him! 0
