Early on May Day, Shi Tian announced the Fishing Spot competition in the group and shared the rules. Before dawn, he went to set up his fishing spot.
This time, he cast his bait a little farther out, but it was still just over a meter from the shore. If he went any further, the big fish would scare away all the Bai Tiao!
Before he had finished setting up, a car approached. He quickly tossed a bag of Wo Liao into the water and ran to the roadside to see who was coming.

"I'm the Hezhou Turtle King of the group. You didn’t misremember; I just came by to check on the fish conditions and environment before work to prepare for today’s competition!" The Bro explained with a slight smile as he pulled out some Wo Liao.
Listening to this explanation, Shi Tian felt it wasn’t entirely believable!
What are you doing with a Micro Lure in hand if you're here to check the environment? Today's competition is about Taiwanese Fishing; shouldn’t you be carrying a Hand Rod to scout for fish?
Today’s competition is about Taiwanese Fishing. Has your Da Gui Pai business expanded so much? However, if you insist on using a Lure Rod for the competition, that’s fine too, but you’ll need to open up another water area; otherwise, once you start casting your rods, those fishing for Taiwanese Fish won’t stand a chance!
Even if it’s micro bait, it’s still a Lure. Casting Lures will definitely affect Taiwanese Fishing since all the fish will be spooked!
But since there are so many people in the group who use Micro Lures, after finishing today’s Taiwanese Fishing competition, we could hold a Micro Lure contest too. Even if it's less efficient, it's not impossible; we can just reduce the number of prizes!
Every Lure Angler is a master of Taiwanese Fishing! Group Owner, how could you not know this? After being looked down upon by Da Gui Wang, Shi Tian found himself at a loss for words!

Seeing Shi Tian silent, Da Gui Wang chuckled and said: "Group Owner, do you have good Lure Rods in your shop? I hope you’re not hiding all the good Rods! I’ve already gone to your shop to take pictures as evidence! We won’t accept any hiding of good Rods!"
Shi Tian felt a headache coming on from Da Gui Wang's words!
What kind of game are you playing with me here? If you had checked out my shop beforehand, you would know there are only a few types of Rods available—ranging from single-section micro baits to Lei Qiang—and their prices aren’t significantly different. Is there really any need to hide them?
Don’t worry; I can afford a few Rods! The address of my Fishing Tackle Shop is in the group; we’re open from 4 AM to 8 PM. You can go anytime to pick out rods, but only if you manage to place in the competition!
After replying to Da Gui Wang, Shi Tian felt somewhat exhausted! Just then, two more cars drove over, followed by an Electric Bicycle.
The lights on the Electric Car were too dim, but the two cars behind patiently followed along behind it!
"Don’t rush off to scout for fish yet. Let me grab some Hooks for you to try out; today’s competition requires specific hooks. It’ll be good for you to familiarize yourself with them!" After telling Da Gui Wang this and reminding him to lock his car door, Shi Tian led him back to his own car to get some Hooks!
In Shi Tian's car, there wasn't much else but hooks—various models of hooks, including lure jigs! Anyone heading this way was undoubtedly part of the fishing buddies' group. Regardless of whether they were competing or not, the priority was to hand out hooks first!
As soon as the trunk opened, the three groups behind him came over. Concerned they might sneak off to check the fishing conditions without saying a word, Shi Tian quickly called them over to distribute some hooks first!
When it came to catching Bai Tiao, sleeve hooks were undoubtedly the main choice! However, since Da Gui Wang was equipped with a lure rod, he needed to have the corresponding lure hooks as well!
There were both barbed and non-barbed sleeve hooks in sizes one through four, and sizes five through eight of Ise Nii were also essential! What if someone excelled at using size eight Ise Nii for catching Bai Tiao?
He even set aside a small box of K's Lure for Da Gui Wang, and Shi Tian was quite pleased with his generosity! Those fishing buddies who could come out at four or five in the morning to scout spots were definitely seasoned anglers! Giving them these hooks was never a waste!
"Group Owner, we also fish with lures! We brought micro rods!" Huang Pao Shen said seriously while adjusting his Noodle Rod behind his waist.
Huang Pao Shen still held Shi Tian in high regard; he was the first one to offer warmth to them. They had a friendship built on sharing a cigarette and a set of hooks!
"Wait a moment, let me find some more lure hooks; there should be plenty in the car!" Old Tool Man chimed in, and Shi Tian had to take notice!
When he accompanied Hu Bu Shi to fish with lures before, he had prepared twenty sets of lures. In the past couple of days, he had made some extras to keep in the car for distribution, so finding a few boxes of lures for them was quite easy!
As he handed out hooks here and welcomed people there, it wasn't until nearly eight o'clock that Shi Tian finally managed to send this group off!
Typically, regular workers needed to start their shifts around eight o'clock. Before that time arrived, everyone by the river had cleared out. This group was truly dedicated just to catch some fish!
Life as a fisherman wasn't easy either! The daytime belonged to their bosses while the night belonged to their wives. Only in the cracks between those two could they squeeze out a little time to cast a line by the river and alleviate their fishing woes!
After delivering supplies to Old Gao and bringing back two breakfasts to the shop, Shi Tian got out of the car and saw Aunt Zhang delivering food to Uncle Zhang across the street!
Was the sun rising from the west? Old Zhang's status seemed to have risen quite a bit! Handing breakfast over to Sun Lang, Shi Tian remarked incredulously.
After taking a couple of bites from his breakfast, Sun Lang smiled slightly and said, "Yesterday's Bai Tiao nest fishing showed great results; Old Zhang had quite a haul. After returning home last night, Old Zhang slapped three red papers from selling fish in front of Aunt Zhang. And look at this—today’s treatment has improved!"
Hearing this, Shi Tian chuckled and said, "This isn't just an improvement in treatment; it's Aunt Zhang making sure Old Zhang doesn't get delayed by dinner when he could be fishing for money! If he keeps having Air Force luck for three days straight, let's see if Old Zhang can still be this carefree!"
