The use of the Iso Rod in freshwater fishing is not significant; its feel is inferior to that of a hand rod, and it lacks the distance capabilities of a sea rod. Therefore, it is often considered a useless item in freshwater fishing and is seldom utilized. 0

The old man had a custom Iso Rod made, but since this type of rod isn't particularly well-regarded, he decided to spare it and didn't take the rods from the shop. 0

"Is that Iso Rod from Mi San? How much is it? Let me see!" After some searching, Chang Guadi pointed at the longest Iso Rod on the shelf. 0

Handing the rod to Chang Guadi, Shi Tian chuckled, "A good line deserves a good rod. How did that set of lines I gave you yesterday work out? You could haul up a ten-kilogram Sea Wolf with it; even if the rod snapped the leader line, it wouldn’t break. Pretty sturdy, right?" 0

Chang Guadi swung the rod lightly in his hand and retorted, "I’ll re-tie the line when I get back. The leader line is fine, but that Fine Line you gave me won’t be able to pull up that Sea Wolf!" 0

After finishing his jab at Shi Tian, Chang Guadi felt the weight of the rod and offered Shi Tian a cigarette. "I have to say, your line isn’t bad! Even if it's just a line, being able to haul that fish up is impressive enough; it's sturdy!" 0

After weighing the rod again in his hands, he finally asked, "How much is this rod?" 0

"Without a wheel, it's four hundred; with a wheel, it's six hundred. That includes lines and floats." Shi Tian placed the cigarette on the counter without lighting it; he was currently eating and didn’t want to ruin his meal with smoke. 0

Upon hearing Shi Tian's price, Chang Guadi nearly dropped the rod in shock and glared at him. "Are you kidding me? That price is outrageous! Even branded goods don’t cost this much; you’re not trying to rip off your friends, are you?" 0

The Mi San rod for four hundred does seem a bit steep for an Iso Rod, but it’s not entirely unreasonable—it’s comparable to imported rods and only slightly more expensive than several common brands by a few dollars. 0

"Who says my rod doesn’t have a brand? There’s a trademark on it! Scan the QR code on it with your phone; you can verify its authenticity!" 0

After retorting back at Chang Guadi, Shi Tian became serious and continued to persuade him: "You’ve used my fishing line before! How was its quality? Can any imported line compare to mine? You get what you pay for; this rod sells for four hundred because it’s worth that much!" 0

After considering Shi Tian's words for a moment, Chang Guadi found them reasonable. Shi Tian had personally tested its quality; there was no doubt about that. Moreover, he had taken a liking to this rod as soon as he held it. Even if his mind agreed to let go of it now, his hands wouldn’t comply! 0

"Alright! I believe you; I’ll take this rod!" After some internal struggle, Chang Guadi gritted his teeth and scanned the payment code. Once he completed the transaction, he intended to leave with the rod. 0

Having caught an Ocean Wolf already without even bringing it home yet—half of it was gone! 0

"That’s just a sample rod; let me get you one that hasn’t been opened!" Calling Chang Guadi back, Shi Tian stood up and took a new rod from the shelf before opening the counter to prepare his line setup. 0

"I’m set on this sample rod! This rod feels destined for me!" After glancing at the packaged rod Shi Tian brought out, Chang Guadi decisively stated. 0

"This packaging is so cheap-looking; it's just a plastic sleeve like those ten-dollar rods." 0

"I’ll throw in a set of lines along with an Abo and lead hook! Do you need a wheel too?" His shop had only been open for one day; there wasn’t much difference between the sample rod and new ones. If Chang Guadi liked this one, he could easily grab another one to put on display. 0

"I already have a Shimano wheel; I can use it right away!" 0

Chang Guadi was indeed interested in Shi Tian's wheel, but that interest came at a cost. If he bought another wheel now, all those fish would be lost! 0

Upon hearing that Chang Guadi didn’t need a wheel, Shi Tian lost interest in preparing lines as well. He took out a spool of line along with an Abo and lead weight from behind the counter and found several San Gou hooks to pack into a bag for Chang Guadi: "I won’t prepare lines for you since I don’t know your preferences; it’s better if you set them up yourself!" 0

After sending off Chang Guadi, he set up a new rod and returned to find the Spicy Stir-Fried Clams had already cooled down. Well, if they were cold, so be it! He couldn't be bothered to heat them up again. After devouring two buns, all that remained of the three pounds of Spicy Stir-Fried Clams was a pile of chili peppers. He cleaned up every last bit and hurried to tidy up the kitchen upstairs while no one was around; otherwise, he would feel uncomfortable down below. 0

The afternoon business was slightly better than in the morning. Chang Guadi caught a nice Largemouth Bass, attracting a crowd eager to buy Live Shrimp. The large shrimp in the front tank were almost fished out by these customers! He called Old Zhao to restock some big shrimp while Shi Tian began checking the Fishing Box Points. 0

The weather wasn't warm, and the Points income had noticeably decreased. Fortunately, it had already reached four digits, so he could restock quite a bit tomorrow! However, the speed of restocking felt daunting. To fully replenish the store's inventory would take at least three Wan Ji points, not counting the offshore fishing gear. If those were included, the Points deficit would easily reach six figures. 0

Luckily, Shi Ye was about to head to Africa soon. He started drafting an advertisement for fishing gear, planning to launch it as soon as Shi Ye and the others boarded their flight. He would free himself from the store to send warmth and address that deficit first! 0

After being tied down in the store for two days, Shi Ye and his group finally returned from their indulgent escapade. They were set to depart for Africa tomorrow, and Shi Tian needed to see them off. 0

At six in the evening, after closing up shop and returning to the villa, he found Shi Ye and his friends already enjoying drinks in the yard. He notified them about the ingredients being delivered and found a spot to lie down while listening to their banter. However, his gaze was fixed on the mountains behind the villa area. 0

"What are you staring at over there?" Shi Ye noticed Shi Tian's unusual focus and expressed some concern. "The fish in Xinyue Lake haven't grown yet; you can't fish there after we leave, and definitely don’t bring anyone else!" 0

Xinyue Lake had just been completed, and they hadn't even started fishing there yet; they couldn't let Shi Tian take advantage of it. 0

Making money in Africa had become routine for the three of them. The hotel affairs and even domestic industries were managed by dedicated personnel, so they didn’t have to worry about those matters. Their only concern was that Shi Tian might lead someone to ruin Xinyue Lake! 0

This villa area was well-built; it just lacked a bit of spirit! If they could build a Ren Lake within the area, it would surely enhance its charm! Shaking his head, Shi Tian began contemplating ideas for mountain spring water. 0

As for Jianren Lake in this villa area, that was a significant project that wouldn’t move forward without Shi Ye’s approval. 0
