A photo accompanied the post, showing Shi Ye holding a fish that was nearly a meter long. In the picture, the carp looked almost as big as Shi Ye's shoulder. What kind of skill is this?
The first comment came from Shi Chui, simply stating three words: "Coordinates sent." For this comment, Shi Ye didn’t reply a single word!
Shi Ye had very few friends on his WeChat ID. His closest friends were Shi Tian, Shi Chui, and Yun Wan'er, along with a recently added friend, Lu Ya from the Air Force. However, none of them commented on the post, although Yun Wan'er did give it a like.
When Shi Tian opened Lu Ya's Moments, it was similar; however, the fish in Lu Ya's photo appeared even larger, almost as tall as him. As for Lu Ya's caption, it was even more exaggerated!
"To catch a hundred-pound giant fish, I waited for three days—totally worth it!"
After looking at the three friends' Moments, Shi Tian quietly opened the photo taken by Lu Ya and saved it to his album. He then posted on his own Moments without breaking a sweat: "First time fishing—too dangerous! Almost got dragged into the lake!"
Once he posted it, Shi Tian quietly closed WeChat and unconsciously started searching for fishing tutorials. Fishing was a vast subject; there were more than ten types of fish hooks alone.
The Sleeve Hook was specifically designed for catching small fish like carp and tilapia, making it perfect for fish with small mouths. There were both barbed and barbless versions of the Sleeve Hook; barbless hooks were easier to remove while barbed hooks made it harder for fish to escape—each type had its pros and cons.
The most common hook was the Ise Nii, which had a thick hook shank and short hook shank, suitable for fishing for big fish. It was robust and could withstand significant force; generally, it was difficult for an ordinary fish to bend it out of shape.

There was also the Qian You Hook with an angled tip that had a high catch rate and was designed for big fish. Besides these, there were various other hooks like Izu, Hai Xi, and Marusei—each with its advantages and disadvantages that could leave one feeling overwhelmed.
Sitting nearby were three fishermen who were eager to show off their skills whenever someone asked about fishing techniques. After studying different types of hooks, just as Shi Tian was about to research fishing lines, their ingredients arrived at the table. None of the four had eaten lunch yet; under the intense gaze of his three companions, Shi Tian could only obediently head to the kitchen.

What thrilled her was not just that Kong Tai brought her a big fish but that when he was around, no one dared to tell her what to do with her phone.
"Is Grandpa amazing or what?" He handed the fish to his daughter and bent down to lift the little girl up playfully.
The old man received a kiss on his cheek from the little girl who praised him without reservation: "Grandpa is so awesome! This fish is almost bigger than Brother Jun's fish tail today!"
Upon hearing this, Kong Tai's face darkened; his granddaughter certainly had a unique way of complimenting others.
It was no surprise that Air Force could catch big fish; after all, he often traveled abroad, especially to underdeveloped areas where wild resources were much richer than at home.
"We're not comparing with Brother Jun," Kong Tai reassured himself. "He’s abroad and sometimes goes fishing at sea; it's not surprising if he catches big sharks! But such large wild fish are rare in our country. Let your mom cook it for you later; you can eat more rice tonight!"
Listening to Kong Tai's words, the little girl looked somewhat confused as she held her phone: "Brother Jun is in our country! Just in Sanya! Dad and Mom took me there to play before; there are so many beautiful big boats!"
Taking the phone from the little girl's hands, Kong Tai glanced at it. A picture of a big carp nearly as long as Air Force appeared on the screen with its location clearly marked as Sanya.
As they were enjoying their drinks and conversation, Air Force's phone suddenly rang. Seeing who was calling, he quickly answered.
