Shi Ye was busy fishing, while Air Force was also hard at work, retrieving the Raft Fishing rod and switching to a larger main line and leader line, keeping a close eye on the screen, ready to cast the hook at any moment. As for the net, why would he need help to scoop up a three to four-pound fish? He could manage that himself! 0

When Shi Ye pulled in a big carp weighing over three pounds, Lu Ya on the shore instantly felt that his Lure Rod was no longer appealing. After struggling for half the day, he hadn’t caught anything as impressive as that one fish. Where was the fairness in that? 0

Fortunately, neither of them was greedy; once each had caught a fish, they headed straight to shore. 0

"How's the fish density in the lake?" Lure hurried over to ask as the raft approached the bank. 0

"Not too high, really. The three of us have been careful with our fishing and it’s been enough, but there aren’t any Giant Fish!" Air Force replied excitedly once they were on land. 0

By Giant Fish, he meant those weighing over thirty pounds. The fish in the lake were all ones they had stocked themselves; aside from the first generation they released, any later ones grew quickly but only reached around ten pounds. 0

After moving their gear ashore, Shi Ye looked around and said, "Tomorrow I’ll have someone come build a house. We can leave the raft here for now. We’ll fish from the raft at Shang Yan; there’s no road over there, so outsiders can’t get through!" 0

None of them would agree to build a road for cars up the mountain. However, they were all in favor of constructing a small stone path and building a house up there. 0

After planning out the location for the house and Fishing Platform, they set up their raft and made good use of the sunset as they descended with two fish in hand. 0

Shi Ye had already informed Shi Tian that Air Force and Lu Ya would be coming over that night, so Shi Tian had started preparing early. 0

Since Air Force and Lu Ya had given him valuable gifts when they first met, Shi Tian was particularly attentive about this meal. 0

After descending from the mountain, instead of heading directly to Shi Tian’s place, they stopped by Shi Ye’s villa. Compared to dinner, tomorrow’s fishing trip was far more exciting! 0

Shi Ye took charge of securing the house and also planned to set up several fixed Fishing Platforms. As for the stone path leading up the mountain, Lu Ya took it upon himself to arrange for materials to be transported before they even reached the bottom. 0

Air Force was responsible for getting electricity and internet connected up there; even though this lake wasn’t open to outsiders, they wouldn’t skimp on their own comforts. 0

When it was time to light the lamps, Shi Tian hadn’t seen Shi Ye and the others arrive yet, so he picked up his phone to call Shi Ye. 0

Upon receiving Shi Tian's call, it dawned on them why they felt something was amiss—they had completely forgotten about Shi Tian! 0

"Let’s go! Each of us will carry two boxes of wine; he doesn’t have much!" After hanging up, Shi Ye stood up and awkwardly said while holding those two carp. 0

To think he had forgotten about his nephew just for fishing—how embarrassing that would be if anyone found out! 0

When he returned in the afternoon to retrieve the raft, Shi Ye had taken a glance at Shi Tian's place and also delivered some Ma Kou fish along with him. 0

These small fish were only palm-sized; if they were meant for soup, they wouldn’t be edible at all—only suitable for frying. 0

After cleaning these small fish thoroughly and salting them for a few hours before frying them in oil, they became a delicious treat. 0

After confirming with Shi Ye, Shi Tian began cooking. By the time the others arrived, four dishes were already laid out on the table. 0

Shandong Cuisine has a signature dish: Scallion Braised Sea Cucumber. However, sea cucumbers are quite expensive, and the ones from Hainan are not as tasty as those from the north, so Shi Tian did not prepare this dish. Instead, he opted for more common ingredients like Si Xi Wan Zi and Tan Zi Rou. While these may not be considered extravagant dishes, they are certainly hearty and satisfying. 0

As he welcomed the guests and took the Carp from Shi Ye's hands, Shi Tian continued to busy himself in the kitchen. Shi Ye had a fondness for Sweet and Sour Carp, and last night he had devoured an entire fish by himself, leaving no soup behind. 0

Shi Tian had no intention of leaving the kitchen anytime soon. Noticing the two guests carrying bottles of wine, he realized that tonight would be a fierce battle; the later he joined in, the better it would be for him! 0

The three did not rush Shi Tian to come to the table; they were discussing the infrastructure of Yanse Lake. With Shi Tian still in the kitchen, they could chat more comfortably. 0

"Hey, our dear nephew's skills are impressive! You can't find such authentic Shandong Cuisine around here!" One of them exclaimed as soon as they tasted the food. 0

Air Force and Lu Ya had never attended a state banquet but had eaten dishes prepared by state banquet chefs. For Air Force to give such high praise, it was evident that Shi Tian's seclusion had paid off significantly. 0

Hearing Air Force's compliment, Lu Ya put down his beer and picked up a piece of tofu to savor it thoughtfully. "Even in Kyoto, there aren't many who can reach this level," he remarked. "But your basic skills still need some work, especially your knife skills; you need to practice more!" 0

Lu Ya's assessment was fair and even somewhat tactful. Knife skills require years of practice. Shi Tian had only been wielding a knife for about a week, and his level was not much better than that of an apprentice responsible for preparing ingredients! 0

Shi Ye listened to their evaluations with a nod but did not engage in conversation. His chopsticks were constantly busy, shoveling various foods into his mouth. "You all keep rating your dishes; I’ll just eat in respect!" 0

Besides knife skills, the quality of ingredients also played a significant role. These ingredients were likely bought from an ordinary market and were even inferior to those used in hotels. "If we had used hotel-quality ingredients, these dishes would have been even better!" Lu Ya added after finishing his thought. 0

"Mm-hmm!" Lu Ya nodded while eagerly digging into the food. Although these dishes weren't top-notch, they were hard to come by in Hainan! 0

Glancing at Lu Ya's voracious eating style made Air Force furious. "Leave some for me! I haven't eaten anything all day!" 0

By the time the last dish of Sweet and Sour Carp was served, the culinary battle on the table was nearing its end. Looking at the mess left behind on the table, Shi Tian couldn't help but think that it resembled either a whirlwind or a storm passing through—either way, all that was left were empty plates! 0
