Hard work pays off. With the kind care of the vanguard team members, Ehrlich finally woke up.
The middle-aged man groggily opened his eyes and found that it was still dark in front of him. He squinted for a while before finally adapting to his surroundings.
Erich looked around and saw a desk ahead with candles on it, emitting a faint glow. His gaze followed the light as it spread around. Suddenly, he noticed several figures standing behind him, forming a circle around him.
Although Erich couldn't see their faces, his intuition told him that these guys were definitely not good people.
"Is this how you treat negotiators?"
Since Erich could determine that these guys were human, his tense heart relaxed slightly.
Humans are more afraid of the unknown. However, these dark figures did not seem to care about Erich's intentions. They just stood there in silence, not intending to speak until they received instructions from the leader. "Hey, I'm talking to you!"
For a long time without a response, Ehrich was somewhat annoyed. He stood up, intending to teach these rude guys a lesson.
"If I were you, I would be cautious with my words."
The familiar voice from behind made Ehrich shudder. This hoarse and deep voice, like the roar of a wild beast, was none other than the voice of the man-eating demon king!
Erich cautiously sat back down in his seat. "Hello, it's... it's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Strasser." Erich struggled to control his teeth from chattering.
"You are very happy to see me, which is certainly wonderful. However, you just made me wait for so long and then fainted upon seeing me. I'm not very pleased about that."
At this moment, Strasser was wrapped tightly in a black robe, with only his chin exposed. The dim candlelight cast shadows on his face, giving him the aura of an ancient medieval wizard.
"Can this guy use any dark magic?" Ehrich speculated to himself, but in the face of the "man-eating demon king's" question, Ehrich did not dare to be negligent. His brain quickly turned, trying to exonerate himself.
It was clear that his processor was currently overloaded, with smoke rising from his head and a burnt smell in the air.
"You are my idol, Mr. Strasser. I fainted just now because I was too excited," Erich said without hesitation, recounting the words he had just spoken to Wilhelm II in his dream to Strasser. For him, speaking appropriately to people and addressing spirits in their own way was second nature.
"Alright, let's not waste any more words. Everyone is here for a serious matter." Strasser interrupted Erich's lengthy discourse; he had no interest in listening to the fat man's nonsense. "In that case, Führer, I will speak plainly. I am here on behalf of the Juncker nobility and the bourgeoisie to propose a deal to you."
Ailixi adopts a very humble attitude, as he is now on someone else's turf and cannot afford to be careless. Moreover, he is facing the notorious "Cannibal Demon King." He came here to achieve merit, not to meet his end. "Oh, what kind of deal? Tell me about it."
Under the black robe, Strasser's lips curled slightly.
"We want to ask the Führer to release the Royalists and members of the Social Democratic Party who are imprisoned in Berlin, including President Hindenburg, Prime Minister Marx, and Chairman Herman."
Erich presented their demands, requesting Strasser to release all the imprisoned party members.
From their perspective, this request is very reasonable. After all, many of their senior personnel have been taken away, which is a significant blow to the operation of their entire system.
"That's a reasonable request, but why should I agree to it?" Strasser retorted.
"We come with sincerity, Your Excellency. We are willing to pay a large amount of gold and land to exchange for the detained personnel," Ehrich said, trying to please.
"Hmm, it sounds quite good."
Strasser pretended to agree, but then changed his tone. "However, that is impossible. I will not give up the struggle against Jewish capital for a trivial benefit. I cannot agree to your request." "Leader, our sincerity is very strong. You don't know, the land and gold we are willing to offer is..."
Erich said anxiously, "Why can't this guy get it?" Strasser decided to guide this not-so-bright man a little.
"I have spent my entire life fighting against Jewish capital, and nothing will stop me until I eliminate them from the earth," Strasser replied in a firm and undeniable tone. "Jewish capital? What do you mean by that?"
Erich felt as if he could sense an unusual atmosphere.
"That's right, the Juncker nobility is not the Labour Party's greatest enemy; it is Jewish capital that truly is," Strasser said with a smile, ready to provide Erich with some clarification on the terms.
"I wonder what the scope of the Jewish capital mentioned by the Führer is?"
Erich wanted to know the extent of Strasser's impact.
"The bourgeoisie who possess a large amount of means of production and either practice Judaism or have Jewish ancestry."
Strasser finally revealed his intentions.
"This is impossible. The Juncker nobility also includes the bourgeoisie, or rather, the bourgeoisie with Jewish heritage. We cannot hand them over."
Erich could not accept such terms.
"Who says these people are Jewish capital?" Strasser retorted, "The bourgeoisie of the Juncker nobility does not fall under the category of Jewish capital that we aim to combat, but the bourgeoisie outside of the Juncker nobility does belong to the category of Jewish capital."
Strasser cleverly separated the Juncker nobility from the bourgeoisie, dividing them and sowing discord between them. He was determined to focus his efforts on attacking one side first, and then turn back to strike the other side later. "As long as you Juncker nobility no longer cooperate with the bourgeoisie, we, the ethnic group Labour Party, can guarantee the safety of your property and land, including those among you who are engaged in business; we will not target you either."
"As long as you agree to my conditions, not only will all the Royalists be released, but I will also release President Hindenburg after I have dealt with Jewish capital." Strasser threw out his chips; he believed that most people were shortsighted and selfish. Strasser was confident that the Juncker nobility would not refuse such a significant benefit.
"However, we Juncker nobility still have many aspects of cooperation with the bourgeoisie. Cutting ties with them would also result in considerable losses for us."
Erich's eyes flickered, apparently swayed by what was said, but he still seemed hesitant. "This is not a big problem. The ethnic group Labour Party allows you to divide the property stolen from the bourgeoisie in country together. As for who gets more, it's up to each person's ability."
Strasser used his unique voice to entice, having already cast out the bait; it was now up to Erich to take the hook. "However, although this may not seem harmful to the We Group, I personally might face retaliation from the bourgeoisie." Erich tried to negotiate for better terms for himself.
"Since that's the case," Strasser's voice immediately turned cold, "then we can only deal with the reactionaries in the prison and send them on their way."
The Vanguard members behind Erich immediately lifted him from his seat, one on each side, and began to carry him outside.
"Hey, hey, hey! Calm down! Chancellor, we can actually negotiate the terms," Erich shouted towards Strasser, but the latter seemed to ignore him completely.
On the right, the vanguard member, Erich, muttered as he walked out, "Great, there's meat to eat again. Today, I want to have braised meat."
"No, we can't eat braised meat every day. It's too greasy. I want to have steamed meat."
The player on the left retorted. Upon hearing this, coupled with the rumors about the "man-eating demon king," Ailich immediately became furious. If President Hindenburg is taken out by these lunatics, he will definitely not be able to walk away unscathed.
"Wait a moment, great and benevolent Leader,"
If he weren't being held back, Erich would have knelt down to bow to Strasser right now.
"Please do not treat me this way; I have agreed to all your terms."
He said with a mournful expression, "Wouldn't it have been better to do this earlier? It didn't have to come to this win-lose situation." Strasser smiled and waved his hand, signaling the Vanguard members to release Erich.
The latter immediately lunged in front of Strasser, indicating that they could agree to any conditions as long as their bottom line was met.
"Actually, you don't have to do this. I have always been kind to smart people, you know. I'm a good person," Strasser said to Erich with what he believed was a warm smile, unaware that his smile would become a shadow over Erich for many years to come.
Whenever he had a nightmare, the kind face of Strasser would always appear in his mind.
