Lin Yuan held the chip up to the light, scrutinizing it as if he were appraising an antique, his brow furrowed. "Could this thing be voice-activated? Open sesame!" he exclaimed impulsively, shouting at the chip. 0

The chip lay silent in Lin Yuan's hand, as if mocking his foolishness. "Alright, I guess I was overthinking it," he said, scratching his head awkwardly. "What if this is some kind of time bomb? That old rascal Falcon wouldn't be trying to blow me up, would he?" The more he thought about it, the more plausible it seemed. He quickly tossed the chip away from him, as if it were a hot potato. 0

Just then, his phone rang; it was Su Jiu'er calling. "Lin Yuan, are you okay? Did Falcon do anything to you?" Su Jiu'er's voice was filled with concern. 0

"I'm fine, just startled by that old rascal Falcon," Lin Yuan replied, still shaken. "By the way, did you find out what that chip is?" 0

"The chip contains the startup program and core data for the Ling Domain Simulator," Su Jiu'er said gravely. "Falcon must be planning to hand over this data to the Qi Gong Association to restart the Ling Domain Simulator." 0

"What? The Ling Domain Simulator can be restarted? Is it some kind of infinite respawn coin?" Lin Yuan's eyes widened in disbelief, as if he had heard something outlandish. 0

"If the Ling Domain Simulator is restarted, the consequences would be unimaginable," Su Jiu'er said seriously. "We must stop them!" 0

"How do we stop them? That old rascal Falcon runs faster than a rabbit; where are we supposed to find him? Should we put out a citywide manhunt and give him a 'Worst Villain of the Century' award?" Lin Yuan shrugged helplessly. 0

Su Jiu'er, however, was confident. "I've tracked down Falcon's hideout; he's hiding in an abandoned factory on the outskirts. It used to be an Instant Noodle Factory, and I bet it smells like expired seasoning packets now." 0

"An Instant Noodle Factory? This guy has quite a unique taste," Lin Yuan remarked sarcastically. "Let's go catch him! This time, we have to catch him red-handed and let him taste the law—without any seasoning packets!" 0

"Wait up, I'm coming with you," Su Jiu'er said. "This operation is very dangerous; I can't let you go alone. What if you get knocked out by expired seasoning packets?" 0

"Alright, alright! Just hurry over; I'm itching to bring that old rascal Falcon to justice!" Lin Yuan cracked his knuckles, already envisioning victory. 0

An hour later, Lin Yuan and Su Jiu'er arrived at the abandoned factory. The place was pitch black; they couldn't see their hands in front of their faces. Only the occasional squeak of mice echoed in the distance, sending chills down their spines. The air was thick with an indescribable stench, a nauseating mix of moldy cardboard and spoiled instant noodle soup. 0

"This place is way too creepy, isn't it? That old guy, Falcon, must have watched too many horror movies to choose a spot like this to hide," Lin Yuan said, rubbing his arms as goosebumps prickled his skin. 0

"Be careful; Falcon's strength shouldn't be underestimated," Su Jiu'er warned. "We need to proceed with caution and not let him catch us off guard." 0

"I know," Lin Yuan nodded, lowering his voice. "This time, I’m going to make that old rascal Falcon pay for it. He needs to understand that even expired instant noodles have their dignity!" 0

The two moved cautiously forward, like two foraging cats, alertly observing their surroundings. Suddenly, a chilling wind swept through, carrying a strong scent of instant noodles. Lin Yuan felt a shiver run down his spine, as if he had been touched by a ghost. 0

"Who’s there?" Lin Yuan shouted, quickly turning around, only to find nothing behind him—just a few bats circling in the air, screeching loudly. "What the hell? Could there really be ghosts?" he muttered under his breath. 0

"What’s wrong?" Su Jiu'er asked. 0

"Nothing, I might just be too tense. This creepy place gives me the creeps," Lin Yuan replied. "Let’s keep moving; the sooner we deal with Falcon, the sooner we can leave this haunted place." 0

They continued onward until they reached a massive factory. Inside were various machines and equipment that resembled a laboratory, but the overwhelming smell of instant noodles was even stronger. 0

"It looks like we’ve found Falcon's lair," Lin Yuan said. "This old guy really knows how to pick a spot—turning an Instant Noodle Factory into a lab? I give him full marks for creativity." 0

"Be careful; there might be traps here," Su Jiu'er cautioned. "We don’t want to accidentally fall into a noodle vat." 0

"Don't worry; I walk steadily," Lin Yuan said confidently, patting his chest. 0

As they advanced cautiously like two adventurous rabbits, Lin Yuan suddenly felt the ground give way beneath him and fell into a trap. "Damn it!" he screamed as he tumbled down, disoriented. "What’s going on? That old rascal Falcon actually dug a trap! Thank goodness it’s not a noodle vat; otherwise, I’d be marinated for sure!" 0

"Lin Yuan!" Su Jiu'er rushed to the edge of the trap and called out anxiously, "Are you okay?" 0

"I'm fine, just a bit sore from the fall." Lin Yuan climbed out of the trap and brushed off the dust from his clothes. "This trap is ridiculous! That old fox, Eagle, is truly devious!" 0

"Be careful; there might be other traps around here," Su Jiu'er warned. 0

"I know," Lin Yuan nodded. "We have to be more cautious. That old man is practically a master of traps!" 0

The two continued forward and finally reached the end of the factory. There, they spotted Eagle standing in front of a machine, holding the chip and preparing to activate the Ling Domain Simulator. 0

"Eagle, stop!" Lin Yuan shouted as he rushed forward. 0

Eagle let out a cold laugh, inserting the chip into the machine and activating the Ling Domain Simulator. 0

The machine emitted a deafening roar, and the surrounding Lingqi began to fluctuate violently, boiling like water in a pot. 0

Lin Yuan and Su Jiu'er suddenly found it hard to breathe, as if an invisible hand was gripping their throats, making them feel suffocated. 0

"Haha, you're too late!" Eagle cackled. "The Ling Domain Simulator is already activated; this world is about to be destroyed!" 0

Lin Yuan and Su Jiu'er exchanged determined glances, filled with resolve. 0

They knew they had to stop Eagle, even if it meant sacrificing their lives. 0
