For Ouyang Zhirou and Lin Mu Xi, it was all irrelevant. One was studying at Lakeside University, while the other had been granted a direct admission, which had nothing to do with them. They found it somewhat amusing to hear me mock and criticize the examiners in front of a crowd of reporters. It seemed I could also get furious and unleash a tirade over such matters. 0

However, the reporters did not expect me to publicly berate the examiners in front of the entire nation. Some quick-witted ones hurriedly cut off the live broadcast, while those who were too slow to react ended up broadcasting my words to the whole country. 0

After venting my frustrations, I felt much better. Just then, I spotted Ouyang Zhirou and her group raising their arms in greeting from behind. I squeezed through the crowd and walked toward them. 0

“How did Zhao Lun do?” 0
“Do I look good today?” 0

Lin Mu Xi and Ouyang Zhirou rushed forward simultaneously to ask me questions as soon as they saw me emerge. I had anticipated that these two girls would meet today, but seeing them both slightly sweaty from waiting for me was unexpected; I didn't think they would run into each other so early. 0

Having two beautiful girls by my side was something many would dream of. I turned my gaze to Ouyang Zhirou, who was wearing a high-slit cheongsam that reached just above her thighs—sexy yet elegant. Although she was slightly shorter than Lin Mu Xi, her outfit perfectly complemented her figure and showcased her allure to the fullest! 0

What stood out most were her legs, which seemed to tease with their subtle visibility; I finally understood the allure of legs. 0

I decided not to favor either of them and answered both questions together. “You both look great! The purple has a certain charm.” 0

After saying that, I turned to Lin Mu Xi. “Aside from that rather silly essay topic, everything else seems fine. If it weren’t for that essay prompt, I might have had a chance at Lakeside University. By the way, how did you come up with your essay? I had no ideas at all.” 0

“I didn’t write anything! I didn’t take the exam; I’m a direct admit! Why should I bother?” 0

“Oh, so you’re a direct admit? Well then, forget what I said. If I’d known it would be like this, I wouldn’t have bothered taking the exam either. With Old Zhao’s connections, I could easily get in without all this stress!” 0

As I looked closely at Lin Mu Xi today, her bright red cheongsam was completely different from Ouyang Zhirou’s attire. If Ouyang Zhirou represented sensuality, then Lin Mu Xi embodied tradition—each had its own unique charm. 0

I thought my approach would be foolproof, but unexpectedly, their differing styles sparked a bit of an argument. 0

“Alright, alright! It’s hot enough under this blazing sun without you two arguing! Let’s clean up and take a shower; remember to come over for dinner tonight,” Ke Hong interjected quickly to mediate as he noticed the two girls’ faces turning red from their heated exchange. 0

Despite his words, they still didn’t leave; neither wanted to risk missing out on whatever mischief the other might plan once they were gone. 0

“Wait? Are we having a gathering at our place tonight?” 0

“Yes! Since you both happened to be together today, we thought it would be nice to celebrate your exams being over by inviting everyone.” 0

I let out an “oh” and looked at the two girls. “Alright then, go take a shower and rest well. Thank you for keeping me company today; see you tonight!” 0

Reluctantly, they agreed and headed home while silently starting their own little battle. 0

"Old Zhao, since you've called so many people, do you mind if I call one more?" 0

"Huh? Who is it?" 0

"Hu Yao." 0

As the candidates trickled out, without exception, they complained to their parents about this year's essay topic being too disgusting. They struggled for half the time and barely wrote a few words, with some even admitting they copied the reading comprehension section entirely. 0

Meanwhile, Hu Yao walked out of the school with his hands behind his head, striding confidently. 0

"Hey, Hu Yao!" 0

He headed straight for the milk tea shop. I spotted him immediately and called out to him. 0

"Oh, Xiao Zhao!" His eyes darted over to Zhao Changsheng standing next to me, and he quickly changed his tone. "Zhao Lun, you came out so fast?" 0

He could call Zhao Lun "Brother Zhao" in private, but with his father nearby, Hu Yao wouldn't dare say it aloud. 0

"Come on, I didn't write my essay, so I came out early. What about you?" 0

"Me? I went in and fell asleep. I woke up and came out; it was too hot to sleep comfortably." 0

Hearing this, both Old Zhao and I rolled our eyes. This guy was sleeping while others were struggling to squeeze out their thoughts. Was he really that carefree? 0

With your blank paper, you still think you can get into Hu City University? Are you still half asleep? 0

"What are you worried about? Just because you get to take the shortcut doesn’t mean I can’t experience the college entrance exam too. But honestly, it’s not worth it; it’s too hot for me to sleep." 0

Great, chatting with this guy never brings any benefits; I almost feel like he’s going to roast me alive. 0

"Hey Hu, why don't you bring your parents over for dinner tonight?" 0

Zhao Changsheng said to Hu Yao. He couldn’t take it anymore; he knew this kid too well. If it weren’t for some special reasons, he would have kicked him. 0

"Sure thing, Uncle Zhao! But my mom can’t come; she just went back home the day before yesterday. She’s busy with my uncle's wedding." 0

"Oh, I see. Well then, just you and your dad will be fine." 0

"Okay." 0

After that, we all went home. Now that the college entrance exam was over, I needed to start preparing to move into Old Zhao's apartment. Living alone was filled with curiosity and anticipation; after all, I could do whatever I wanted without anyone judging me—even walking around in my underwear if I wanted! 0

On the other hand, Ouyang Zhirou and Lin Mu Xi were putting a lot of effort into their outfits for tonight. Ouyang Zhirou dragged her father around trying on countless outfits while Lin Mu Xi was doing something similar—both determined to outdo each other in style. 0

"Zhi Rou, Dad still needs to buy some things. We can't go empty-handed to Zhao Lun's house!" 0

"I don't care; you have to help me pick out a nice outfit before we leave. Dad, what do you think of this combination?" 0

Ouyang Xiong was so furious that he felt like dragging me out and giving me a good beating. "What on earth did you give my daughter?" 0

Lin Mu Xi replied, "My parents aren't any better; their eyes are practically going cross-eyed." 0
