I admit that throughout the entire school, there was no one who made me feel disgusted or nauseous, except for Lin Mu Xi. Upon realizing it was her, I didn’t say a word and turned to leave. 0

When Lin Mu Xi saw me turning to walk away, she anxiously shouted, "Zhao Lun, it's not what you think! That day, he pressured his father to cut off our family's supply. I had no choice but to agree to have dinner with him. Can you let me explain?" 0

Yes, I had a week-long romance with this goddess recognized by the entire school. It was my first experience of love, my first crush. I admit that during that time, I liked her very much and believed she was the girl I would cherish for life. Perhaps all boys feel this way about their first love, but things didn’t turn out as I hoped. 0

Our first meeting was at a milk tea shop outside of school. I remember it clearly; it was during our school's autumn outing when only two classes participated—my class and Lin Mu Xi's class. Since it was an outing, we weren’t wearing uniforms. I had decided to treat the whole class to milk tea, which seemed like a small expense to me. 0

It was this chance encounter that allowed me to meet her. She simply passed by to pick up her milk tea, but that brief moment planted a seed of love in my heart. Her perfect figure and flawless face left a lingering fragrance as she walked past me; just one glance at her image lingered in my mind for a long time. 0

At first, I thought those stories of love at first sight on television were just for dramatic effect. But when it happened to me, I realized how wrong I had been. 0

Handsome boys love beautiful girls, and beautiful girls love handsome boys; this has been the case throughout history. Zhou Youwang set fire to the feudal lords for Bao Si's smile, and Wu Sangui lost his temper for a beauty—these events prove it all. And I fell in love at first sight with Lin Mu Xi! 0

In the days that followed, through my efforts to get close to her, I learned about Lin Mu Xi's preferences—what she liked to eat and what she avoided. I even enlisted Hu Yao's help in pursuing her, which meant treating him to meals for over half a month. 0

After discovering that she loved the milk tea from that shop, I spent my pocket money buying drinks from there and then sent her flowers and food while finding excuses to walk with her. It may have seemed foolish, but for someone experiencing their first crush, it was the best way I could think of. 0

In what I believed was my best and most sincere pursuit, she perhaps saw my genuine feelings—or maybe it was something else—and agreed to be my girlfriend. The whole confession process wasn’t extravagant or romantic; there were no elaborate preparations or heartfelt moments. We simply sat together in a courtyard at school where I stammered out, "Lin Mu Xi, I like you. Would you be my girlfriend?" 0

When she heard my words, she paused for a moment before turning to look at me with only me in her eyes and smiled as she said softly, "Sure." 0

Those two simple words lingered in my ears for a long time. The day she agreed made me incredibly happy; the sky seemed bluer than ever before, and the air felt particularly fresh. 0

We held hands as we walked through every corner of the campus and lay on the playground gazing at the stars. News of our relationship spread quickly among our classmates who said we were a perfect match. 0

However, good times didn’t last long. Just as she had said, a week later, I planned to buy her favorite doll from the mall as a surprise. 0

As soon as I stepped into the mall entrance, the Mall Manager approached me without any hesitation. I didn’t even think about how he recognized me; he insisted on guiding me around and mentioned that without Old Zhao's help, this mall would have closed down long ago. At that moment, I didn’t understand what he meant; I simply thought Old Zhao somehow managed mall business. 0

Under the Mall Manager's guidance, I found the store selling merchandise. However, as we passed by a restaurant in front of that store, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a familiar figure. When I turned around, I saw a boy sitting back down with a teasing smile on his face. Just as I was about to curse him for being sleazy, I realized that the girl across from him was Lin Mu Xi! Her cheeks were slightly flushed as she smiled at him. 0

I couldn’t believe it; doubts flooded my mind about what I was seeing until after staring for a moment longer—I confirmed it was indeed Lin Mu Xi. 0

At that moment, it felt like someone had tightly gripped my heart; my heartbeat skipped several beats and in an instant, it felt like my breath had stopped completely. 0

As the boy settled into his seat, his lewd smile and Lin Mu Xi's slightly flushed face made it clear that he had kissed her. The Mall Manager beside me immediately sensed my unease and asked, "What's wrong, Zhao Zi?" 0

I lowered my head and remained silent, struggling to control my breathing in an attempt to calm myself. But it was clearly futile; at such a passionate age, who could tolerate seeing green lights flashing above their head? 0

I didn't answer the Mall Manager's question. Instead, I turned and walked into the restaurant, with the Mall Manager closely following me. When we reached their table, Lin Mu Xi's face came into view, and I could no longer contain my anger. 0

Without a word, I grabbed a bowl from the table and smashed it over the boy's head. The sudden scene shocked the restaurant staff, the diners, the Mall Manager behind me, and Lin Mu Xi. 0

Bang! Bang! Bang! I smashed three bowls before finally stopping. The boy's head was already bloodied from the blows; he hadn't had time to defend himself and had passed out. 0

Zhao Zhao Lun and Lin Mu Xi looked at me in horror, her lips trembling as she called my name. 0

When I turned to look at Lin Mu Xi, all the affection I once felt had vanished, replaced by an overwhelming disgust and anger. I quickly turned away without looking back at her again, leaving behind a single sentence as I walked out. 0

"Lin Mu Xi, you make me sick. We're breaking up." 0

I didn't listen to her attempts to explain; what I had witnessed was proof enough. The Mall Manager couldn't afford to concern himself with the boy I had knocked out. He hurried after me, knowing that no matter how powerful the forces behind that boy were, they couldn't possibly rival Zhao Changsheng's son right in front of us! He understood the difference between a good meal and a bad one. 0
