During a previous Sugarcane harvest, he discovered an efficient method of cutting that utilized a flaw in the game mechanics, allowing him to harvest only the parts exceeding one meter while leaving a section to continue growing.
According to the game's regeneration mechanism, as long as the remaining part exceeds a certain length standard, it will automatically resume growth. Through this method, Yun Yi can easily ensure a continuous supply of Sugarcane, and this task can be assigned to ordinary farmers, significantly reducing his own workload.
Whether it is Sugarcane, Wheat, or Carrots, all require ample water support during their initial growth stages. Especially for Sugarcane, its need for water is almost a hard requirement; without a water source, Sugarcane can die immediately. In contrast, while Wheat and Carrots have slightly more lenient water requirements, complete water deprivation would greatly delay their maturation process—what should take only a few days might now take ten times longer.
To ensure the rapid growth of these crops, Yun Yi specifically used a Shovel to dig multiple interconnected water channels in the land. Each area can receive appropriate irrigation. After completing this task, he quickly ascended to the surface using the Water Ladder and retrieved several Iron Barrels filled with water for his new farmland.
