Given Zhao Yong's previous experience, the villagers displayed an unusual warmth and excitement at being chosen. With a wave of her hand, Yun Xiao Yi summoned a tall and slender villager who immediately ran up. As the other villagers attempted to join in, Yun Xiao Yi waved her hand and said, "No need for more; one is enough."
The remaining Zhao Family Villagers nodded dejectedly, regretting that they hadn’t stepped forward first. Yun Xiao Yi took out seeds of Wheat, Carrots, and Sugarcane from her bag and handed them to the villager one by one, asking, "Did you just watch my steps?"
The tall villager nodded in agreement. "Good, then try to sow these seeds the way you saw me do it."
Excitedly accepting the three types of crops, the tall villager chose a spot near the irrigation ditch. Mimicking Yun Xiao Yi's actions, he first attempted to scatter the Wheat seeds onto the ground. However, the expected scene of seeds quickly being covered by soil and sprouting into green shoots did not occur.
Seeing this, the villager scratched his head in confusion and looked toward Yun Xiao Yi. Faced with this situation, Yun Xiao Yi didn’t provide a direct answer but instead said, "Don’t worry about that; just continue planting the rest."
Upon hearing this, the tall villager nodded in understanding and again mimicked Yun Xiao Yi’s movements as he tried to sow the Carrot and Sugarcane seeds. Yet again, no sprouts emerged from the ground.
Observing this, Yun Xiao Yi began to understand something. It seemed that her ability to transform real-life plants into Minecraft plants was a unique skill exclusive to her; attempts by others might be ineffective. So what would happen if they directly planted crops that had been transformed into Minecraft versions?
Once these plants were modified, their growth characteristics would belong to the traits inherent in those plants. Theoretically, they should also be able to grow successfully.
Watching as nothing sprouted from the soil, the tall villager felt somewhat disheartened. "Great Immortal, did I do something wrong?"
In response, Yun Xiao Yi patted the villager's shoulder and reassured him, "Don’t take it to heart; these issues are not your fault."
You will dig holes and bury the Wheat, Carrots, and Sugarcane as usual, and then wait for me there. I still have some things I need you to do.
The villagers nodded and immediately rushed back to their planting spots. Just as the others were about to approach, Yun Xiao Yi waved his hand again, saying, "No need for more; one is enough."
As his words fell, the other Zhao Family Villagers slumped their heads in disappointment, regretting not being a bit quicker.
Yun Xiao Yi took out Wheat, Carrots, and Sugarcane from his bag and handed them to the Tall Villager. He then asked, "Did you see how I did it?"
The Tall Villager nodded in confirmation. "I saw it."
Yun Xiao Yi continued, "Alright, then hold onto these crops and try to imitate my sowing action from earlier."
The Tall Villager excitedly took the Wheat, Carrots, and Sugarcane. He then chose a piece of land near the Irrigation Ditch. Following Yun Xiao Yi's earlier method, he first scattered some Wheat on the soil.
However, contrary to the expected scene where the seeds quickly sank into the soil and sprouted green shoots, nothing seemed to change. The Tall Villager scratched his head and looked at Yun Xiao Yi with a puzzled expression.
Yun Xiao Yi did not respond but simply said calmly, "Don't worry about it; try planting something else."
Upon hearing this, the Tall Villager complied. He attempted to plant Carrots and Sugarcane using Yun Xiao Yi's method, but without exception, all failed.
Seeing this scene, Yun Xiao Yi understood: it seemed that transforming real-world materials into those from Minecraft was a unique ability of his own that others could not replicate.
So what would happen if I directly let them plant crops transformed into Minecraft types? Since they would naturally possess rapid growth properties after being converted into Minecraft plants, theoretically speaking, these people should be able to complete the sowing task as well.
Seeing that there were still no shadows on the ground, the Tall Villager appeared somewhat dejected. "Master, could it be that I did something wrong?"
Yun Xiao Yi gently patted his shoulder to comfort him. "It's alright, the problem doesn't lie with you. Just follow your usual farming methods and plant the Wheat, carrots, and Sugarcane. Then wait over there; I will call for you again shortly."
The Tall Villager nodded repeatedly and quickly ran back to his Experimental Field to begin his tasks.
