Despite these characteristics, they do not prevent Azure Sugarcane from being crafted into an item in the game. The process of converting it into an in-game item is similar to that of Wheat and Carrots, with the only difference being that there is no need to till the soil with an iron hoe. This is because Sugarcane can grow on various types of terrain, including sand, but the crucial requirement remains proximity to water; it must be planted near an Infinite Water Source within the game.
After collecting enough Sugarcane, Yun Xiao Yi gave all the cooked fish he had left in his backpack, including regular Cooked Fish and Salmon, to Xiahou Xing. Upon receiving these fish, which have benefits similar to Ginseng or Lingzhi, Xiahou Xing wore a hearty smile. He also remembered the previous lesson and did not repeat Zhu Ji's greedy mistakes, maintaining an appropriate distance and avoiding overly eager behavior.
This trip to Xinghua Village was quite worthwhile for Yun Xiao Yi. Not only did he recruit Dian Wei as a companion, but he also successfully acquired three important resources for future development: Wheat, Carrots, and Sugarcane. In the game, there are various methods to obtain Bone Meal, including defeating specific monsters to collect bones and crafting them at a basic Crafting Table or retrieving them when a fertilizer barrel is full.
However, compared to directly breaking down bones, producing Bone Meal using a fertilizer barrel is notably inefficient. Even under optimal conditions, completing a full fertilizer process yields only one unit of Bone Meal while requiring at least eight units of material. Some crops demand even more than one unit of Bone Meal; thus, using this method to promote crop growth is far less beneficial than it appears.
Overall, directly breaking down bones into Bone Meal remains the most economical and effective approach. Recalling his earlier experience of converting two bones into six units of Bone Meal through decomposition, Yun Xiao Yi decided to see if he could replicate this process in reality.
For the purpose of experimentation, he summoned Zhu Ji and Xiahou Xing: "Do you have any bones here?"
